Matt Geeling is a qualified and registered member of the SAPP (South African Professional Photographers Organisation.) He studied Art Direction at the AAA School of Advertising for two years and has been trained by some of the leading retouchers across the globe.

Matt is represented by Silver Lining Pictures and has worked on a variety of different campaigns for clients including Sprite Egypt, Adidas ZA, ORMS and Altel 4G.

He specialises in Product, Beauty and Automotive photography as well as high-end digital retouching. His extensive and precise knowledge of photography, lighting and digital retouching allows him to create and capture stunning and impactful images throughout all photographic genres.

Inge Prins is a commercial photographer with a fine arts degree in photography. She learned how to photograph on film and understands the importance of creating a shot in-camera.

Inge is based in Cape Town and works for local and international clients including Wallpaper*, Monocle, Cosmopolitan, JWT and The Wall Street Journal. She exhibits her personal work regularly in South Africa and abroad.

Mario Rabie is a self-taught photographer who focuses mainly on documenting and capturing his environment in the form of portraits and candid in-situ shots of real people 'doing their thing'. His portraits have a fresh, unaffected feel, yet they celebrate the extraordinariness of his subjects, striking a balance between contemporary documentary photography and classic portraiture.

Along with his commercial work, Mario keeps busy with a variety of personal projects that depict the most interesting participants he encounters in his daily life. As he explains, "photography has been the constant focus for me. It has enabled me to vocalise my other interests."

Cool Banana looks back at what has proved to be yet another successful season. Projects varied greatly, with a pan-African campaign for Barclays which required different executions by nationality. The result is a testament to the great racial diversity Cape Town offers, allowing the company to offer high-quality talent for various markets. Locally, Cool Banana produced a TVC for Truworths, which "we believe changed the landscape of retail fashion films in South Africa and was very well received by audiences."

Beyond the African market, Cool Banana catered for Basics, Jockey, V.Dot Jeans (a subsidiary of Van Heusen), Dutch online retailer Superstar who returned to shoot an exciting California-themed look-book, and young up-and-coming designer Ashley Marc Hovelle, who decided to shoot a beautiful story with a dramatic backdrop at Atlantis Dunes. In each case a top tier service was provided with quality results boosting the respective brand images.

Lourens completed work for South African Tourism, Hansa, Standard Bank, Cell C and Vodacom, amongst others, while Kofi travelled to Canada to showcase his documentary after completing work for Tiger Brands.

The coming season promises to be an exciting one, with new projects and talented recruits set to join the 7Films team.
