Alexandra Tremaine is a lifestyle photographer based in the outskirts of New York City. Since a young age Alexandra has appreciated the way light can change to dramatically alter a scene. In high school she picked up her first film camera and she was hooked. She loved learning about light, testing it, and seeing what the world looked like through the lens. She enrolled and completed her education at the Brooks Institute for Professional Photography with an emphasis in Advertising.

Alexandra aims to capture the world in a simple yet beautiful way. She strives to denote a natural feeling, both in expression and setting, achieving high quality lifestyle photography.

When Alexandra isn’t on assignment or running her photography business she can be seen on the beaches or in the woods of Connecticut with her daughter Izzy and dog Luna.

Amit Dey graduated as a software engineer but photography was always his calling. The world of advertising and fashion photography soon embraced him for his sharp technical acumen, meticulous planning and execution, and down-to-earth personality.

Over the years, Amit has worked on various projects with some of the best advertising agencies and clients worldwide. He has been involved in creating many different types of images, ranging from fashion to portraits, concepts to fine art… and many things in between.

Cherishing his artistic freedom, he loves to experiment, and refuses to be tied to any particular genre or style. He immerses himself completely in the projects he takes up, always pushing the boundaries to produce images that are better than what he has ever produced before.

Amit's work has been awarded in the Photography Masters Cup, International Photography Awards, International Color Awards, International Loupe Awards, CLIO, Goafest, Adrian awards and Px3.

Carlos Lumiere was born in Spain and developed an interest in photography from an early age, influenced by his father who is also a photographer.

After studying architecture, Carlos moved to Miami in 1989 to work as a press photographer for a Spanish press agency. He was inspired by Miami Beach’s fashion boom to devote his career to fashion photography.

Carlos went on to develop an extensive portfolio of work, living and working in different cities around the world. He assisted on shoots for Vogue Italia for two years, helping some of the largest names in fashion to capture the images that best reflected their brands and campaigns.

From the intimacy of his new studio in Southwark to panoramic landscapes around the world, Carlos enjoys choosing locations to fit a shoot. He now works on high-profile fashion and advertising campaigns and is best known for his rich, emotive and dynamic style, blending classic lines with luscious colours.

Chris Fortuna is a fashion and celebrity photographer based in Los Angeles. Born in Boston, he began photographing at a young age and moved to New York City to study Photography and Fine Art at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His early education was transformed by learning and assisting for some of the old-world photography masters, including Helmut Newton, Paolo Roversi and Richard Avedon.

Working in both editorial and advertising fields, Chris describes his style and influence as "the modern example of the classic image, defined by beauty and light." Currently, his work is focused on stills and motion, capturing and defining the ideas of "real beauty" and "the visual link between subject and artist."

When not working on either coast, Chris likes to spend time attempting to go fast on two wheels.

Clients include GQ, Esquire, Converse, NBC Universal, Maxim, Biore, Sprint, Virgin, FHM, Sony, Complex, Warner Bros., Entertainment Weekly, Olay, People, Interview and W Magazine.

The shoot featured in this Spotlight is the spring/summer '16 campaign for L'Etoile Sport, a high-end collection of women's wear for tennis, golf and fitness.

These images were shot in one day across three different locations in East Hampton at the end of this summer.

Conor Doherty lives in Brooklyn, and works all over.

David Carette's career as a creative director and scenographer has naturally led him to do his own film direction and photography.

David was born in 1972 and is based in Brussels. He studied Architecture and Photography and from the late 90s until 2009 worked as an Art Director and Managing Director for two art direction companies, where he was in charge of offices in Brussels, Paris and London.

After completing scenography projects in New York, Milan, Beijing, Moscow, and more for clients including Swarovski, Dover Street Market and Chanel, David set up his own creative studio 'Demain, il fera jour in 2009', operating worldwide and specialising in creative direction and scenography.

His creative energy is now strongly centered around his work as a photographer and film director. In his films and pictures there is the elaboration of a world, a story and he has shot some of the most beautiful women on the fashion scene, including Pauline Van der Cruysse, Manon Leloup, Georgia May Jagger and Yumi Lambert.

David's most mediatised campaign to-date is the 'Always Restless' Mercedes-Benz worldwide fashion campaign, starring Georgia May Jagger.

Diliana Florentin is part of the new wave of Bulgarian photography. She is a graduate in Advertising and Art Photography from the New Bulgarian University. She acquired her initial inspiration in photography under the mentorship of proven photographer and educator, Alexander Nishkov.

"Photography is art, and also a way to 'express yourself. It is an emotion, a romance; it becomes a way of life. You capture the moment, you pressurise it and the shot lasts forever,” Diliana says.

Fashion photography is her passion and it comprises a major part of her portfolio. The feminine point of view and sensuality is inevitably felt in her work.

Dabbling in the world of serious photography since 2007, this gifted fashion photographer has made his undeniable mark. Sushmendra Dubey is popularly known as 'Dubs', and has extensive experience in the world of advertising as a creative director at multi-national agencies, having worked on a range of brands and creative challenges.

His fashion images show a refined sensuality and elegance. Dubs' work is classic, romantic and clean. His photography - be it advertising or fashion - is described as "aggressive, yet sensual.’’

Travelling across India - be it metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore, remote interiors or abroad - he has enjoyed shooting fashion, corporate, food, kids and celebrities.

Born and raised in Athens, Errikos Andreou started pursuing his passion from a very young age, studying the work of designers, stylists and photographers alike. At the age of 18 Errikos moved to London where he studied Fashion Design at the University of Westminster (BA) and the College of Central St.Martin's (MA). After his studies he worked in various positions within the Industry as a designer, stylist and later as a photographer. Since 2009, Errikos has been working as a full time photographer.

Errikos has a distinguishable signature approach to his photography and is an amazing story-teller who loves weaving strong emotions in his images. He is a photographer with a profound interest in people and considers 'good chemistry' as an integral part of creating stunning images.

Gregory Allen is a fashion and advertising photographer based between Mexico City and New York.

Originally from Seattle, Gregory studied Visual Arts and Psychology at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He began his career working with Oliviero Toscani and the Benetton team in Italy, going on to win the National Geographic prize in 2004, while in 2010 he was named as one of the 'Top Pros' by Popular Photography magazine.

Gregory has been featured as the only photographer on the list of the most important figures in the fashion industry by Elle Latin America, and appears frequently on television as part of Mexico's 'Next Top Model' and 'Behind the Scenes' on E!.

He has spent the last 15 years working all around the world for brands such as Diesel, Prada Mexico, Coppel, El Palacio de Hierro, Studio F, Julio, and magazines such as Glamour, InStyle, Travel+Leisure, and Harper's Bazaar.

Taipei-born, Hawaiian-raised Howard Huang's unique mix of a sharp creative vision and veteran technical prowess has catapulted him to become one of commercial photography's fastest-rising stars. His photographs create a fantasy land that moves seamlessly from the visually dramatic to the subtly enhanced. His models emerge as warm and sexy, with a touch of glamour and lingering drama. If nothing else, Howard's world is a visually arresting one: one look and you're mesmerised.

Michael Miklas' strength undoubtedly lies in his ability to capture the magic of emotions, working gently with light and colour to create a wonderful work of art. Particularly in his fashion projects he shows his instinct for the perfect perspective, capturing a fleeting moment or the specific personality of a subject.

Clients including Swiss label SomySo trust his intuition and sense for the right set and style, but also appreciate his sensitive and cooperative personality when it comes to successfully realising their projects.

Photographer Roger Neve is a true Gemini, loving fashion photography but able to capture the essence of any subject - even if they are not in designer clothes! His personality pushes the limits and his iconic photographs do the same.

He treats every job as an adventure, whether he is shooting a model in a hot air balloon over a herd of elephants or racing across the beach chasing his subject to get that perfect shot. He once broke his ankle leaning off a bridge to capture the light in just the right way.

Roger possesses a certain joie de vivre that translates directly to his work. Even on a few hours' sleep he manages to make it all happen with a smile on his face. A devout problem solver, he has talked his way out of many situations to get that perfect shot on the go when it was seemingly impossible. His technical consistency is unparalleled and clients would have a hard time finding a nicer guy to work with.

Sally Rose is a London-based photographer who specialises in fashion and portraiture. She has won multiple awards for her photography from the likes of AOP and NME Music. Most recently, she was a finalist in the 2015 AOP Open Awards.

Her clients include Topshop, Topman, Amazon, The BBC, Channel 4 and Republic Clothing.

Sally has also recently started to venture into video work and has so far produced videos for clients such as Lipstick Boutique and Accessorize.

Ssam Kim was born in South Korea and moved to London in 2002 where she graduated from the London College for fashion photography. She worked as in-house photographer at WOUND Magazine and as visual editor at Glass Magazine.

In 2012, Ssam moved to New York and shoots for clients such as Cutler and Gross, Andaz by Hyatt Hotel, Uniqlo Korea, Natural Selection, Rachel Cox, Gentle Monster, New Balance, Essie, Deborah Vereck and Morana US.

Ssam also shoots for publications including Harper's Bazaar Man, Nylon, W Korea, Glass UK, Vogue Korea, Harper's Bazaar Korea and Eloquence magazine.

Tal Givony is known for clean, edgy imagery that is used in magazines and major ad campaigns across a range of industries internationally.

He says, "I consider myself to be a citizen of the world. Hence, the places I draw inspiration from are vast and the resources are inexhaustible. Having said that, you could most likely find me either in Tel Aviv or New York.“

Some of his recent work includes shooting Claire Danes for the popular Showtime series 'Homeland', while the images featured in this Spotlight  are from editorials for fashion magazines and campaigns for brands on both sides of the Atlantic.
