Originally from Toronto and New York, Oz John Tekson is a Berlin-based advertising, fashion, and editorial photographer. He studied graphic design at the university and worked for 14 years in advertising as an internationally award-winning art director.
Therefore, he sees things from the vantage point of an art director and produces work differently than conventional photographers. This gives him a conducive edge in all stages of the production, from concept, creative/visual solutions to post-production.
Oz John is a noticeably technical and conceptual photographer that eventually comes from his art director background. Thus, he is good with creative themes and creative teams.
He produced work and they were published in online and printed media in Canada, the USA, and Europe. Oz John produced work for more than 70 publications, including Vanity Fair and Vogue Italia. He is known for his fashion editorial work that welcomes subtle humour and surprises.

Ich hatte Ende letzten Jahres auf Empfehlung ein Fotoshooting mit Oz John gebucht. Ich hatte gerade ein Produkt entwickelt und wollte eine Auswahl and Bildmaterial für verschiedene Werbemaßnahmen haben. Schon das erste Gespräch verlief sehr freundlich und professionell. Da es mein erstes Shooting dieser Art war hat es sehr geholfen, dass Oz von Anfang an wertvolle Tipps hatte. Eine Woche später haben wir uns dann in Berlin getroffen. Die Stimmung war von Beginn an ausgelassen und professionell. Auch mein Model hatte sich von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und konnte den Ausweisungen von Oz direkt folgen. Ich bin bis heute absolut begeistert von den facettenreichen Bildern die ich bekommen habe. Das nächste Shooting ist jetzt im Sommer geplant.
