Karen Thomas is a London-based food and drink photographer and director. Her 1300sq ft studio in Elephant and Castle is where she creates beautiful images for her extensive client base which includes Marks and Spencer, Costa, McDonald’s, Nestle, Lidl, Tesco, and Vue, to name a few.

Karen has been shooting advertising, packaging, and editorial commissions for over 20 years and is always hungry for the next exciting project.

This Spotlight features her eye-catching Christmas Lidl adverts; one of the shots from the Costa Christmas ad campaign, which dropped on people's doormats across the country; some beautiful shots for Marks and Spencer; a mouthwatering chocolate torte for Betty Crocker; and a snowy white cream bun shot featuring falling coconut flakes which beautifully adorned the cover of December’s Olive Magazine.
