About
Max Draeger is a professional mountain sports and outdoor lifestyle photographer based in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps in Austria.
The mountains have been his playground and canvas for years now and he is happy to back up his commercial and editorial work with a great understanding for the athletes, the action and the environment he is working with.
Max’s motivation is to serve his clients with high-end images from unique locations no matter how hard the access, how harsh the conditions or the weather might be.
Always striving for a real and natural look and feel, he hardly works with artificial light and make use of the opportunities provided by mother nature.
To keep up with the athletes, Max puts in a lot of effort and training to be mentally and physically on point and be able to capture moments that will never happen for a second time.
Max looks forward to joining your project from the very first idea and helping through the whole process of conception, production and the final edit.

Professional lifestyle and outdoor sports photographer Max Draeger is based in Tyrol, Austria, and is an expert when it comes down to difficult shoots in the mountains.
Being a skier, mountaineer, climber and mountain biker himself, he is able to keep up with the athletes and create authentic, unique and inspiring images. Clients like ORTOVOX, evil eye, Scarpa, YETI, Alpina or Primus value his hands-on approach and the great knowledge concerning terrain, conditions and locations.
Last winter, Max was on assignment for drink wear and cooler expert YETI to shoot a ski touring and freeride series showcasing their products for winter purposes. Apart from shooting action in deep powder and a van life scenario, his crew also spent a night at a remote mountain hut to capture even more diverse lifestyle imagery.
