The Loft Studio rental studios photo & film
Josep Rodenas’ photography is inspiring, evocative and human by nature. He doesn’t portray perfect models, but common/ordinary people that need no words, just the look in their eyes or a simple gesture to express themselves.
Rodenas travelled to the Philippines in 2012 and discovered the world of classical and contemporary ballet. He has photographed first class soloists and ballet maestros, and his photos have been published in national and international magazines.
His work includes a variety of characters: academics, Nobel-Prize laureates, gallery owners and architects, artists, actors and international models.
His personal style goes beyond photography: it tackles human nature and sensibility: the value of the intangible, what’s there, but not everyone can see.
“Portraiture has been a privilege for me, because it has allowed me to know fascinating people that I would have never met otherwise”.

Barcelona: The Loft Studio
The Loft Studio is a fully creative company that offers a wide variety of services in professional photo & video production.
The studios have more than 120m2 dedicated to full production services, plus: cyclorama, waiting room, hair & make up stations, lounge area (with water, coffee and tea), 600 MBs wifi (optic fibre), 10kW electrical power, a 10x11m space with 6m high ceilings (gable roofs).
The Loft Studio is next to Marina metro station and tram lines; 500 m away from the beach and 10 minute walk to Barcelona’s city center, with parking area, loading zones, lift/forklift.
The studios can hold photography, video and casting sessions, workshops for photography, retouching, make up, and other events such as presentations, exhibitions, showrooms, etc.
The team includes photographers (advertising, fashion, portraits, still life/product, architecture, events, reportage), camera operators, cinematographers, sound technicians, lighting and digital assistants, and they can provide all kinds of equipment, such as a projector, lighting, a big table for still life shoots, portable lighting kit with batteries for exteriors, continuous lighting kit, cameras, optics and laptops, accessories for photo & video, etc.
Services include digital retouching, video editorials, making of, video editing, casting, styling, make up & hair and catering.

The Loft Studio rental studios photo & film
The Loft Studio is located on the edge of Barcelona’s Poble Nou district.
The area boomed during the industrial revolution of the 19th Century and was Catalonia’s economic engine for an extended period of more than a century before, more recently, suffering decades of decay. It has always maintained an important cultural and artistic base which, thanks in part to the massive Project 22@Barcelona, has flourished anew, restoring much of the economic and social vitality that it had lost.
The recovery and restoration of often neglected or abandoned former industrial premises has helped to fuel the development of fresh, exciting projects such as the The Loft Studio.
Designed in the style of a New York loft, this studio is run by a highly professional, friendly young team. It is easily accessible, well equipped, bright and spacious. It has a dedicated area for make-up and hair, a comfortable lounge area, office and a solid internet connection.
The Loft Studio is the ideal space for photo shoots and showrooms, or to use as a base for shooting around the city.
