TAKE ME TO CUBA Havana Full Production Services & Location Scouting
TAKE ME TO CUBA is the longest standing production service in Cuba. Specialising in fashion and advertising, due to Havana's amazing architecture and nearby beaches, they started first productions in 1999. Cuba will almost certainly steal your heart, with its ridiculously rich culture, the sparkling beaches, swanky mansions and vintage cars.
Home to the Latin American Film Festival every year, Havana has a long tradition of film making, thus having a broad local talent and equipment base.
Let's be straightforward: Cuba continues to stand out as a socialist "red dot" on the map; it's both intriguing and complicated at once. Despite the complicated part, after 22 years of producing in Cuba, TAKE ME TO CUBA has learned to speak Cuban.
Production in Cuba helps the Cuban people themselves attain economic stability and a new identity, rather than helping the government.
Fascinating projects took place over the years, just to name a few there are: Hermès, Zimmermann, Bloomingdale's, Mercedes, Olympus, Audi, JP Boden, Holiday Magazine, and GQ.

TAKE ME TO CUBA Havana full photo production
"Take Me To Cuba is celebrating its 20th anniversary as the number one production company on the island.
Over the years, Cuba has certainly evolved, but don’t worry, she still remains very recognizable! Havana's old town has still got that charm, only now it’s dotted with elegant boutique hotels and cozy cafés, a sign that the economy continues to grow. And the clean turquoise waters of the surrounding beaches remain a major draw card for clients. One thing that will never change though are the friendly and inviting locals. They are the real stars of this beautiful country.
TMTC is a mix of European and long-serving local team members, giving clients world-class producers armed with local knowledge. After all, it’s essential to speak Cuban in Cuba!
Considering Cuba for your next campaign? It’s only a phone call away!"

TAKE ME TO CUBA Havana Location Scouts and Production Services
“What does Havana look like today?" That’s quite a common question the team at 7 Seas are asked. The political landscape has evolved in recent years and with it, so too has the island. Two things remain unchanged, the incredible locations and the friendly locals.
Havana is continuing to shine bright, with new hotels and top restaurants opening up across the city. It’s a sign of the cultural landscape evolving and it makes coming to Cuba even more enticing. The architecture in vibrant colours and the energetic streets are still what make this place a real drawcard for productions, and there is no shortage of this.
Since 1999, Take Me To Cuba has been bringing clients to this beautiful part of the world and it’s fair to say there is no company better equipped to produce on the island with. The customs processes, visas and other paper work is handled in totality and all on-ground transport, accommodation, catering, location scouting and even local casting and equipment rental needs are taken care of.
Clients include Hermès, GQ for Louis Vuitton, Bergdorf Goodman, Boden and Australia's Zimmermann.

Cuba: TAKE ME TO CUBA
For over 19 years, the crew at Take me to Cuba has been aptly doing just that- taking clients to Cuba, and delivering beautiful productions.
Take me to Cuba is the local arm of 7 Seas Productions' international team, who run a well-oiled operation specialising in fashion campaigns and editorial productions in the Americas.
There are a number of customs and visa processes to consider when travelling into Havana, so it's always a benefit having a team on the ground that speaks “Cuban”.
Most recently, the TMTC team was asked to manage all local production needs for the latest SS18 Hermès campaign, in a co-production with Blue Sand - Paris. In total the crew count reached just under 40 for the shoot, spread across multiple locations in Havana throughout the week. Young British photographer Jack Davison was the man behind the lens.
Take Me To Cuba knows a thing or two about Latin America and producing stunning results. Just ask Bloomingdales, Cosmopolitan, JP Boden or Mercedes-Benz.
Send the 7 Seas guys an email today for a conversation about locations, timings, or just some friendly advice.

TAKE ME TO CUBA Havana Photo Production and Location Services
"'Now, that was a production!' clients say, boarding the plane after a shoot. It's always an amazing experience. Take me to Cuba is the longest standing photo production service in Cuba. The latter has been getting a lot of deserved attention lately for the spectacular diplomatic rapprochement between Washington and Havana.
And Havana is still the same, no matter what, and Cuba is much more than Havana. Even though advancing day by day, it still retains the atmosphere of 1940s sepia photographs with high ceiling fans and mahogany rum racks. Its people combine homegrown creativity and fresh forward loveliness with the Salsa beat and vitality of Latin America.
The creative production crew of Take me to Cuba speaks Cuban. With the authorities, for productions the most important thing is to get in, to get the work visa, which in reality is a walk in the park when you know how. Once you are in you move like fish in water. Take me to Cuba's team takes care of that part and of scouting, catering, crew hiring, equipment rental, hotel booking - whatever your flavor is. Send them an email and you get a gorgeous pack of 100 “best of” Cuba impressions."

Cuba: TAKE ME TO CUBA
Take me to Cuba has seen Cuba go through many ups and downs since the company was founded 18 years ago. Many people ask if a lot will change now that Fidel is dead, or if a lot has changed since Cuba and the US fell in love again. The answer is: not at all. This is partly because of limited hotel capacity and the slow pace at which the Cuban Government adapts to change.
Take me to Cuba’s main specialty is fashion, but the company welcomes unusual productions such as for Havana Club in which Magnum co-founder, Elliott Erwitt, returned to Cuba to continue a project he started 50 years ago - when the Cuban Revolution and a very much alive Fidel Castro were in full swing!
Another production was carried out for car photographer Markus Bolsinger, who captured a story for Mercedes AMG on the Cuban boxing scene that featured three-times Olympic gold medalist Felix Savón. Take me to Cuba also recently produced for Bloomingdales, JP Boden, Bonprix Brasil, Simons of Canada, OTTO, Happy Size and Town & Country.

Cuba: TAKE ME TO CUBA
"Don´t think that Cuba is empty now that Barack Obama and the Rolling Stones are back home. One of the most frequent questions Take me to Cuba hears these days is: what has changed for productions since the USA and Cuba became friends again? Our answer is: not much, except for an excellent booking situation for Cuban hotels and restaurants.
While it's worth thinking ahead while planning your photo and video shoots in Cuba, nothing much has changed in Havana - it is still one of the most interesting places to be, having the biggest colonial heritage in the Americas as well as beaches belonging to the 'best in the world' category.
Take me to Cuba is one of the longest standing Cuban production service companies, founded in 1999. The crew is still vibing off their most recent production in Havana with Bloomingdale's. Legendary in their own right, this production was a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity for Chris Bengsch and his mixed international and Cuban team to put their heads together and source a variety of stunning locations for renowned fashion photographer, Alistair Taylor Young."
