Kurt Stallaert Amsterdam advertising photographers
Kurt Stallaert was born in Belgium in 1969. His work is often inspired by current social and cultural issues, to which he adds a touch of humour. His portfolio contains a good mix between commissioned and non-commissioned editorial work.

- De Parade will see theatre performances, renowned musicians and talented filmmakers visit a number of Dutch cities, calling at Amsterdam from July 31st - August 16th.
- Brazil Contemporary, until August 23rd. Presented between Rotterdam's leading museums, Brazilian culture comes to the city on the Maas.
- Film by the Sea, Vlissingen, September 11th - 20th. Films ranging from major Hollywood blockbusters to smaller art-house productions will be presented at this new international film event.
- Netherlands Film Festival, Utrecht, September 23rd - October 2nd. A selection of Dutch features, documentaries, shorts and television dramas are to be screened and judged, with 'Golden Calf Awards' in 13 different categories.

Over the past three months, Produktie! Jan Ruinard has been working for both national and international clients Saab, McDonald's and Heineken.
However, May was a different story. "No telephone, no work - there was nothing going on in Dutch commercial photography, so I drank too much. But now it's June and I have new hope and a new spirit. Damn the recession! Damn the financial markets! Let's get back to work again!"

Maaike Koning's photographic style can be described as portrait and social documentary photography.
She will sometimes set up her images in advance, but generally she prefers to wait for the right moment - a spontaneous movement or emotion which inspires her to take a picture.
In her photographs, Maaike tries to create something special out of what might (initially) seem 'ordinary'.
