Born in 1975 in Vienna, Mato Johannik graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography in California in 2003. Working for photographers like Greg Gorman, Steven Klein and David Lachapelle, Mato gained proficiency in celebrity photography, conceptual photo design and lighting expertise.

His wide range of work spans from fine art and fashion photography, incorporating creative concepts for advertising clients, to celebrity and corporate portraiture as well as real life documentary style photo design.
