The agency Basics was established in 1995 by Heleen Claassen and Barbara Münzing and was one of Berlin's first agencies for make-up artists and stylists.

Basics represents hair and make-up artists as well as stylists, operating on a national and international basis and made up of an experienced team of three bookers who provide dedicated customer service.

Basics is one of the founding members of bavus - a federal association of agencies for make-up artists and stylists.
