With a strong interest in people, places and techniques, as well as a passion for moving images, Heiko Merten works for television and feature films, documentaries and corporate communication. His clients include RTL, Coca-Cola and Ehapa.

Challanged to shoot a music video with only a singing performance, Heiko Merten has been fired up by the inspiring screen test with Romy Schneider for the film L'enfer'. Moving lights, make-up effects and cross colours were used to create a weird atmosphere, finding an equivalent in the 2013 clip 'Heilig' from the band Schlafes Bruder.

Heiko is a member of the German Society of Cinematographers (BVK).
