- The 8th edition of the Triennial of Photography Hamburg uses the theme of Currency to invite reflection on the contemporary power of the photograph to relay and relate meaning across distance. Opening week: May 20th-22nd.
- Last October, the expert jury chose the winners of the current Felix Schoeller Photo Award from over 600 works submitted from a total of 95 countries. The pictures can be seen from 31st March until 12th June in the Willy-Brandt-Haus in Berlin.
- For six days in spring, Stuttgart becomes the global centre of animated film: ITFS festival presents the entire spectrum of current animation filmmaking with interfaces to visual effects, architecture, art, design, music and games. ITFS will be hybrid – onsite in Stuttgart and online, from 3rd to 8th May.
