Freelance make-up artist Melis Ilkkilic graduated from Marmara University School of Banking. After working in the finance sector for two years, she decided to move into her family business and began working for MAC Cosmetics. She now works freelance on fashion shoots, catalogues, image campaigns, album covers, advertising and music videos.

Clients include Mavi Jeans, Matras, Efes Pilsen, IC Hotels, Yeni Raki, Garanti, Algida, Vestel, Axe, Opera Festival of Istanbul, Yapi Kredi, Yesil Kundura, Miss Claire, Crispino, Romano Botta, Pierre Cardin, Adil Isik and She Cosmetics.

Melis also works for magazines including Marie Claire, Super!, Cosmopolitan, Elele, All, Trendsetter, Bride's, Cosmo Bride, Esquire, 46 and Xoxo.
