A Buenos Aires native, Max Klein grew up in many different countries, was trained as a photographer in New York, and now lives and works in Hamburg. His international background makes his photography unique in capturing the visual essence of character.

With a strong storytelling voice, his work ranges from portraiture to fine arts and fashion. He draws heavily from Baroque and Romanticism-influenced painters like Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and Petrus Van Schendel.
