Mission Photo Production's year started off with several studio jobs and a car shoot. For Mercedes, Mission hit the road for three weeks to produce four separate projects rolled into one: still photography, two editorials, and a film shoot involving the partial closure of an interstate highway. Simon Harsent photographed a trained squirrel for Old English, and Mitya Kushelevich did a series of portraits for Kaspersky, the antivirus software.

“It’s all in the mix”, says Mary Pratt, the founder of Mission Photo Production. “From studio shoots to travel projects; car shoots to working with celebrities; editorial to advertising - we enjoy them all."

Dyad Photography shoots commercially as well as creating conceptual series.

Commercially, Dyad Photography is Colleen Picciotti. She went to school at RIT, which led her to NYC to work with Irving Penn. She has since been shooting still life, food and anything that grabs her attention.

Conceptually, Dyad Photography is Colleen and Justin Picciotti. Together, they have been working on creative images for the past nine years. "When an idea starts out calm and controlled, it always develops into something messy."

With their eight-year romance a thing of the past, Markus Klinko and Indrani have pulled a Dolce and Gabbana - staying together professionally regardless of their relationship history. Gaining recognition for their slick celebrity shoots, the pair has captured glossy images of Lady Gaga (in homage to Hello Kitty) Naomi Campbell (for American Photo) and Britney Spears (for Vanity Fair).

Their reputation has recently catapulted the pair in front of the camera with 'Double Exposure', their new reality television show for Bravo documenting their shoots from initial thought to hard copy, currently airing in over 50 countries around the world.

Still life and product photographer Rich Begany brings a unique vision for colour and texture to his collaborations with clients. His energies in the studio are focused on creating images that elevate products to look vibrant and iconic.

Rich works primarily out of his Flatiron-area studio in Manhattan. His client list includes a range of advertising and design agencies, corporate clients and magazines. Some recent projects include shoots for Avon, LORAC Cosmetics and Maybelline NY.

Gary Sloan Studios loves to create situations. They tell a story, they develop a desire, or even just simply drive awareness.

The 1896 Studios and Stages consists of three varied turn-of-the-century warehouses and multiple outdoor shooting venues located just 15 minutes from Manhattan in Brooklyn, NY.

The Foundry is a 19th Century building where originally fine varnishes were manufactured before it housed The Albra Metal Foundry. By 1906, it was one of several steel foundries in the Long Island City area that catered to the needs of New York City's riverfront manufacturers.

By the 1970s, The Foundry was essentially an abandoned space, housing defunct vehicles and a mountain of debris. In 1980 the Du Val family purchased the property. The family restored and renovated the space to reflect its original industrial character, and began hosting events in 2001. It is the only foundry in the area still standing.

Today, The Foundry is a raw space facility that is available to rent for weddings, birthdays, film, video, photo shoots and special events.
