Travelling Films recently shot the latest KFC commercial, 'Captain Shrimpo', through agency MI7 (Cairo) and The Producers Films production company for the Middle East. The commercial was directed by Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3 and Colombiana), and the DOP was Romain Lacourbas.

Amour Chocolate, shot in Lisbon through agency Euro RSCG Kiev (Ukraine) and Toy Pictures production company was directed by Gleb Orlov, with Jean Louis Vialard as DOP.

Tropicana, the “world's best juice”, has a new campaign that was shot in Portugal. With the slogan “Great tasting juice doesn't just grow on trees,” the agency DDB UK and production house Pulse Films chose the south of Portugal to recreate the feeling and ambience of the Brazilian orange groves.

During a five-day shoot with average temperatures reaching 35 degrees, Production Services Portugal shot in several Brazil look-alike locations with more than 60 talents and extras giving the sense of intensity, passion and the final touch to this commercial.

Latest news from Artists Group:

• Beeline TVC for Russia, together with Bazelevs production house (bidding producer Andrey Dubinin) and agency Young & Rubicam, Moscow. The directors were sisters Tash & Tanya from the UK, and Artists Group was very happy to finally work together with Valeria Baburina, producer from Bazelevs. With beautiful weather and great locations (football stadium, racing track, city and apartment), the fantastic team contibuted to a great shoot.

Check the Gate recently opened a branch in northern Portugal. The new offices are located in the centre of Porto and the company has begun an extensive scouting review in order to update its existing files on the region.

Check the Gate also recently provided executive production for the historical Italian feature 'Anita', based on the life of Garibaldi.
