The images featured in this Showcase were produced for the Bakkavör Group, an Icelandic food producer with facilities in Lincolnshire. The brief was to portray the workers in their own environment and in a positive way.

Nick often tries to introduce an element of fun into his imagery, but never at the subject's expense. When not working on assignment he is regularly pursuing personal projects of interest, adopting a similar approach of celebrating different aspects of life.

The recent campaign for Nokia 808 Pure View was shot and filmed by Patrick on location in Rio during carnival week. Lorentz Gullachsen's year has been one of continued change, more corporate reports and portraiture work. A charity commission for The British Lung Foundation provided a great opportunity to produce portraits for the new awareness and re-branding campaign for BLF.

His landscape work has not disappeared, with a small preview exhibition of his 'Elan Valley' project being held at the Elan Valley Centre through July and August. The on-going project concerns the impact of a 19th Century scheme to collect water in Wales and deliver it to Birmingham, providing fresh water to an expanding city and leaving a legacy of what is referred to as the Welsh Lake District.
