Light, she realised early on, is a central factor in the beauty of photographs, and she is a master at using it in her photographs in a variety of sometimes unconventional ways.

During her photo shoots, she places special emphasis on a happy atmosphere and conveys a feeling of security to the children with a childlike lightness.
