Baker Kent is an international production company specialising in high-end photo and film campaigns for the fashion and advertising industries.
Working out of Cape Town, South Africa, the team specialises in shoots across the African continent and the Indian Ocean islands.
With owners Rob and Scott both African-born and intrepid explorers, few of the continent’s location secrets remain personally unexplored by them, complete with an enviable black-book of local contacts and suppliers.
The duo also come loaded with international experience and heavy-weight collaborations, evident in the high standard of production services they provide. Rob worked in London for 11 years, 9 of which were spent working with Mario Testino and Art Partner. Scott owned and ran a photo agency and production company in Dubai during its boom.
The Baker Kent team are seen as the ‘go-to-guys’ for adventurous shoots and are known for delivering high-end production services in the most trying and remote destinations.
Recent projects include work for Anthropologie, BHLDN, Dorothy Perkins, Lacoste, Wonderland, Porter Magazine, Avene, Entertainment Weekly and Another Magazine, shot in Cape Town, Italy, Morocco, Kenya, Chile and Scotland.

Baker Kent is the new look of well-known production company 10-4 Africa, owned and run by producers Scott Curnow-Baker and Robert Kent. With the same attention to detail and passionate dedication to relationship building, the team is very excited to kick-start its new global venture.
