Jo Kirchherr is a photographer specialising in food, people and lifestyle. He is located in Cologne from where he discovers the world of photo, food and pleasure!
Jo recently shot a series of dishes for Rewe to go (Agentur thjnk, Hamburg) as well as for Fissler's spring/autumn campaign (Agency: die Basis, Wiesbaden).
Jo has also photographed for numerous publishers, including Christian, ZS-Verlag and Mattheas, as well as for a range of books with famous TV master chefs such as Björn Freitag, Frank Rosin, Nelson Müller, Steffen Marquardt and Matthias Ludwigs. He also shot the pictures for Dieter Müller's autobiography 'wie Deutschland genießen lernte'.
Jo has produced his own powerful imagery as a freelance photographer for over 20 years. He loves authentic moments, and his ability to capture spontaneity without sacrificing technical or aesthetic perfection is testament not only to his professionalism, but also to the skills of his accomplished team.
