Corporate & industrial photographers
Jordan Buzzy is a photographer and outdoor advocate based in the Mitten State. In the Midwest, a bike ride along the lake can be epic, an individual can change a system, a drum machine can reach across an ocean. Home of big ideas, big water, and big fun.
This Spotlight features the Dr. Lee Jones memorial ceremony at the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry. Dr. Lee Jones was a pioneer in what would become diversity and inclusion efforts within academia and industry. A teacher, recruiter, mentor, and founder of Ann Arbor's first Black dental practice. Not to mention his many awards for civil rights, dentistry, and academia.
Jordan also rode to Pictured Rocks with Bike Tour Vacations. "Like most Michiganders, I like to take time in the summers to get out to the big lakes. I personally work with BTV to staff and develop bike tours in Michigan’s upper peninsula. This year we ran three public tours and two private tours including the Flint and Detroit chapters of 'Black Girls do Bikes'; a true joy to host."
DJ Sama Abdulhadi and the legendary E-Dancer were captured performing at Paxahau’s Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit.
Jordan also worked on portraits with musician Rob Massard, Ann Arbor Summer Festival’s Associate Director James Carter, and Rep. Dan Kildee.

"Always aiming to bring the faces of work to light. I would like to take this Spotlight to focus on women in leadership. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of women at the top of their fields.
From diversity and inclusion for one of the worlds most recognisable fashion brands to running a local womens shelter, these ladies all seek to make their workplace and industries better, safer and more equitable."

Detroit
Jordan Buzzy, like many photographers in the automotive hub of Detroit, has found work around advertising and promotion of automakers and their partners.
Jordan’s background in editorial and event photography has helped him stand apart from traditional car photographers by focusing on staff and skill trade workers. What many drivers don’t see when they get in the driver's seat is the uncountable faces of large and small manufacturing workers that make up the global auto industry.
Working with suppliers and local agencies, Jordan helps bring forward the faces from the machinery for manufacturers of all sizes.
