Film Commission
FifeScreen+TayScreen is the screen commission for Fife and Tayside in Scotland. Our service is free and we’re here to help production companies, location managers and all kinds of producers find locations, service, crew and anything else they need. We provide a fast easy way to get your project on rails in lovely film-crew friendly Scotland. We also help with accommodation, recces, research and official permits. Let us know what you need and we will do our best to help. The region goes from the iconic Forth Bridges to the Scottish highlands and from central Scotland to the east coast. Locations are highly diverse from mountains to coasts, historic to contemporary, rural splendor to cityscapes like Perth and Dundee, home to the new V&A Museum of Design. There are fairy tale castles and mansions, some of the longest rivers in the UK, mountains like the mythical Schiehallion, beaches with some of highest sand dunes in Europe and of course, golf. We can boast its world famous home at St. Andrews and Carnoustie, hosting the British Open 2018.
Our service is free because we're a partnership of the regional government authorities of Angus, Dundee, Fife and Perthshire.
To get here there are direct flights from London Stansted into Dundee and the region is around 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, 45 minutes from Aberdeen and 60 minutes from Glasgow.
We are a member of the Scottish Locations Network and the European Film Commissions Network.
