    Title: 'FLOW'Z'

    Location: Studio.

"Together with Christian Olivier Merz, the makeup artist who conceived the idea of incorporating flowers and petals, we developed an editorial that includes this image. The model featured is the wonderful Faith, represented by M4 Models.

My image is about contrast, texture and minimalism. I aimed to create visual tension by incorporating selective coloring and using black and white as the primary element, contrasting it with a vibrant orange of the petals. This contrast draws immediate attention to the organic elements placed on the skin, symbolising a connection between nature and human identity. The texture of the skin, captured in detail with its subtle imperfections and matte finish, contrasts with the soft, delicate quality of the petals.

For me, this interaction between the natural and human forms suggests themes of fragility and resilience, where softness meets strength."
