Francesco Majo & Nataly Cadavid have worked together as a team for over two decades offering their services as photographers, D.O.P., directors.

They are pioneers of the food and lifestyle photography movement. Their career spans over 25 years of commercial and editorial experience, with particular reference to the places where they have lived the most: Milan, Paris, London and Barcelona.

Their versatile portfolio includes everything from international advertising campaigns to food and lifestyle, travel editorials and films.

Francesco Majo was born in Italy. He studied law at the University and then photography - his real passion - at the European Institute of Design in Milan. There he met Nataly and together they began a 20+ years long career as professional photographers. They established themselves first in the lifestyle sector and then as food photographers.

In 2003 they moved to Paris to seek new creative stimuli, and then to London, where Francesco took a degree in travel journalism. In 2015 the couple moved to Barcelona. There began a new adventure in the field of film-making. Francesco and Nataly actually share their lives between Spain and the UK, always passing trough Paris.

Classical and humanistic studies have, in some way, always influenced Francesco's and Nataly's creative vision and still lead them to express themselves with a very personal narrative in writing, video and photography. Since the beginning of their career, they have carried on, in parallel with their commercial work, a creative and personal path.

Francesco and Nataly feel like citizens of the world. They express themselves perfectly in English, French, Spanish, Italian and get away with some other languages.

AUBERGINE STUDIO is a still and motion photo studio with a Latin soul and creativity, an Anglo-Saxon approach, and an Italian touch. The studio is run by skilled and creative international photographers and directors, Francesco Majo and Nataly Cadavid, who have lived and worked between Milan, London and Paris for over 20 years.

The photographic duo are married and work as a team. They met in Italy where they both studied at the European Institute of Design in Milan. Francesco studied photography and also later received a degree in Travel Journalism in London. Nataly moved from Colombia to Italy to study art direction and graphic design.

They love the challenge of taking something ordinary and transforming it into something extraordinary. The love of photography and personal research has allowed them to collaborate with some of the greatest and most talented art directors, designers, prop and food stylist, to create beautiful work for a range of different international clients. They love to travel and explore the flavours and cuisines the world has to offer.
