Born in the north of England, Gary Salter studied graphics and photography in Liverpool before moving to London, where he is currently based. He produces bold images with a distinctive and unique photographic style and quirky sense of humour. His work receives critical acclaim both in the UK and internationally.

More recently, Gary has been commissioned for several moving image projects for clients including Ikea, Incruse and ACare. He has also won award from PDN Faces and IPA Best of Health for Best in Photography.

Recent clients include Sainsburys, Capital One, Ikea, Boots, Brooks Running, Not on the Highstreet, Incruse, Post Office, Penguin, Wired Magazine, Warner Brothers and ACare.
