Volker's own view of things characterizes the individual image of his creative work. His passion, black and white photography, is still present despite digital photography. He takes portraits: landscape portraits, architectural portraits, portraits of people. After several stops in Cologne, Berlin and Stuttgart, his love of the mountains brought him back to his birthplace. Today he lives near Munich, with the mountains right on his doorstep.
