“Fusion Fashion”. These are the words which best describe the personality of Lara Gerin. A stylist and DJ who is always in-tune with the worlds of fashion and music, Lara began her career as a model in the early 90s when the Brazilian fashion industry was gaining international recognition.

She lived in Europe and Asia modelling for top fashion brands before returning to Brazil, where she began working as a stylist alongside internationally acclaimed art director Giovanni Bianco.

Lara has worked with editorials and brands including L'Officiel, Vogue, Select Magazine, Key Magazine, BrideStyle Magazine, Rolling Stone, Ampersandheartny, Talie NK, Lilly Sarti, and many others.

She is currently based in New York and works between Berlin and Zurich.

Lara Gerin, known around the world for her talents as a model, celebrity stylist and wardrobe designer, was born in a small town near São Paolo, Brazil, but now calls New York her home base.

Several years modelling in Paris, Madrid and Tokyo for clients such as Chloë, Thierry Mugler and Issey Miyake gradually opened her eyes to the fact that what goes on behind the scenes is often much more interesting than what happens on the runway. In short, she developed an eye for fashion, an ear for listening to her clients’ needs and wants, and an all-around resourcefulness that allows her to produce stunningly beautiful results, no matter what’s on hand.

Lara’s work and experience run the full gamut of what any true stylist is called upon to create. She is equally adept at editorial shoots, wardrobe design for large-scale television shows as well as the intimacy of celebrity and personal styling. From classic to avant-garde, Lara knows what she’s doing. “I love the challenge of delivering what the client wants!"
