During his childhood, Song Liu was obsessed with Andy Warhol and Complex Arts. In college, he majored in print and started to develop his own unique taste. Inspired by the movie 'Blow Up', he became interested in fashion photography and officially started his professional career in 2009.
Song Liu is now based in Shanghai.
He has collaborated with Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, ELEMENT, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, FHM, GRAZIA, Femina, and other major media.

Currently residing in Shanghai, Song Liu is a fashion photographer who works closely with mainstream magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Ellemen, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, FHM, Grazia and Femina. Before his fashion photography career, Song was fascinated in the art of duplication and Andy Warhol.
Choosing print-making as his college major, Song obtained a profound understanding underlying this art form. In later days, the movie 'Blow-Up' aroused Song’s acute sense for art and fashion. He then began his professional career as a fashion photographer in 2009 and remains active.
