"This year - marking the 20th anniversary - was so far a year with almost only new photographers, film makers and clients. But also jobs spiced up with never existing demands in all those years.

Starting the year with German advertising photographer icon Ivo von Renner: portraying actors for Stuttgart’s famous theater, diestaatstheaterstuttgart. Being a first working with ebikes, we continued with steep hills and historic neighborhoods for Cowboy bikes. Followed immediately by riding locations, parkour and stunning climbing spots around Lisbon for Bosch eBike Systems.

Midsummer, another first: find amongst other locations, three trees that can be felled for a STIHL photo shoot around Stuttgart and Black Forest.

Just before summer break we realised a video and photo production in Stuttgart and at Germany’s biggest lake, Lake of Constance, for EnBW, a southern German electricity provider.

In the past two years we’ve been producing against all odds, mainly in Portugal - in closed and secured private environments, without compromising on-set security standards. Stuttgart and Lisbon-based production company Hamilton R. Pereira was lucky to fill the second half of 2020 with interesting projects, after an uncertain beginning.

With German clients looking more into staying in the country, the demand for local and safe locations was big.

The adaptation for Covid-19 set protocols, professional anti-Corona desinfection services available and a certificate as a 'Corona Counselor' for photo, film and TV sets by the German institute DEKRA, have helped keep jobs running safely.

Lisbon was also back on in the summer, with governmental approval for professional photo and film productions. Until the present day, that shooting approval is still valid.

Hamilton R. Pereira is a photo production company based in Stuttgart, southern Germany, with offices in Berlin and Lisbon.

For the introduction of Kärcher’s latest product, the handy mobile outdoor cleaner 'Explorer', Hamilton R. Pereira Production Management searched throughout the countryside around Stuttgart for the best landscapes. A major concern was to find a farmer who would allow the team to flood his land with mud and build a jump ramp for a biker right in the heart of the meadows. Thanks to its good network, the company was able to provide the right spot.

Currently, the team is en route for a German TV film - searching and providing location and location management in southern Germany, from morgues, courts and hospitals, to shiny office buildings and more. Stay tuned!

Hamilton R. Pereira - Location & Production is a full service Stuttgart-based location, photo and video production company with support from its Berlin dependance.

An extensive location database includes private and public buildings as well as landscapes, mainly in the south of Germany, Portugal, Croatia and Brazil.

Recent location clients included German photographer Peter Heck, shooting the German public health insurance AOK Baden-Württemberg, German photographer Hanse Knödler for flooring company HARO and fireplace firm Spartherm Feuerungstechnik, and interior photographer Matteo Manduzio for the new 'Cinema' collection of textile manufacturer Zimmer + Rohde.

A notable recent production included supporting photographer Joel Micah Miller working on a brand new cleaning product, involving jumping mountain bikers, dogs, kids and a lot of mud! The production will be online shortly.

Hamilton recently became a member of the German Location Scout Guild (BVL) and has now officially acquired the location database of Stuttgart-based location scout Pia Hirsemann, who, after a sabbatical, has decided to follow a new path in her life. The team is looking forward to interesting new challenges with this deal, including the expansion of the location offer.

With around 2,000 locations spread over Germany, Croatia, Spain, Madeira, The Azores, France, Portugal, Italy and Brazil, the company’s location portfolio spreads across Europe and beyond.

At the end of 2015, Stuttgart-based production company Hamilton R. Pereira, temporarily took over the location database of Location Scout Pia Hirsemann who is currently on a sabbatical.

That includes over 700 private and public locations from around Stuttgart and the federal state of Baden Württemberg, South Germany. To improve the service, the company employed new staff member Helen Braun, who is tasked with supporting location requests.

Hamilton was also recently officially accepted as a member of the German Location Scouts Guild (BVL - Bundesverband Locationsouts e.V.). As a result, the company has increased its pool of available locations and location scout resources. While the company's focus remains firmly on production, requests for location management are also serviced.

Over the recent winter months, Hamilton R. Pereira Production Management has spent time increasing its location portfolio. The team also travelled to Eastern Europe where once again location scouting turned into gem hunting.

The team takes great care in not just finding the right spot, but also increasing its local knowledge of the infrastructure and bonding with location owners and providers.

Over 300 brand new locations are available, ranging from dirt roads winding through lush fields to pristine water alongside deserted coastlines, sophisticated cityscapes and charming alleyways in old towns - not to forget some refreshingly inspiring new entries from the company's home patch, Portugal.
