• Orlando – Based on a Novel by Virginia Woolf, until 29t May at Fotomuseum Winterthur. In the dual role of guest editor and curator, Tilda Swinton took up the central concerns of the novel in a special issue for Aperture magazine and in an accompanying exhibition: gender fluidity and the prospect of eternal life.
• Photo Elysée in Lausanne presents Train Zug Treno Tren - Crossing Lines, from 18th June to 25th September. The exhibition explores new approaches to railway history and creates a dialogue between photography, film, painting and drawing, and literature.
• During its 53rd edition, Visions du Réel, recognised globally as one of the major festivals dedicated to non-fiction filmmaking, will present 160 films from 58 countries. From 7th to 17th April in the city of Nyon.

Thomas Baumann is a Swiss photographer based in Zurich and Thun. His focus is on corporate, editorial and industrial photography. His passion for photographing people, whether staged or documentary, is based on his empathy and curiosity about human nature. He is known for his ability to establish a trustworthy connection with the subjects in a short period of time and his efficiency and experience when realising projects.

Based on the clients' requirements, he loves to team up with creatives to evolve visual concepts and bring them to reality. He provides individual and tailor-made visual content, including image editing and retouching when requested, that is used by his clients on social media, websites and print advertising.

Stefan Kürzi is a commercial outdoor photographer from Switzerland. His work focuses on mountain sports, tourism and portrait photography.

In commercial work, it is always important to him to make the customer's advertising message easily recognizable in the picture. For this purpose, he also uses artificial light where necessary. He believes that artificial light helps, among other things, to control image viewing. Only at very remote locations or at extremely difficult action shoots does he dispense with the use of additional light sources. That way he can work alone, stay fast and efficient and hardly disturb the flow of the athletes during shoots.

His calm manner as well as his pronounced communicative skills complete his profile. Stefan always welcomes the opportunity to build positive and rewarding new relationships.

Alex Buschor is a Swiss photographer who spent his formative years in Adelaide, Australia. He has been working as a photographer for more than 20 years now, and during this time he has become one of the leading photographers in the field of architecture and outdoor.

Through his years of experience in the architectural industry, he has been able to work with various large and smaller architectural companies and property owners. As the architecture world is changing, Alex is producing more and more videos about properties and exciting projects.

He offers everything, from timelapses to complete real estate productions. He also has experience in construction documentation, which has taken him to many different locations.

As soon as the year started, November Oscar Sierra Whiskey - The Location House was already busy with various productions and its own archive. Spring is the season for new beginnings, and the location agency is embracing it with a cooperation with HVH in Marseille to scout locations in France, among other projects.

Production Paradise Member, Zurich photographer and filmmaker Alberto Venzago masterfully shuttles between the worlds of reportage and advertising, documentary and fiction. In gripping photo essays and films, he casts a critical gaze on world events. Until 2nd of January 2022 at Museum für Gestaltung, Zürich.

Our cover image was shot by Cyrill Matter, for the Studio Magazine. He shot an hommage to Pierre Cardin who passed away end of 2020. The team recreated and modified his legendary future fashion designs from the 60s. All models were built in 3D and merged with the image of the model, combining new technology with timeless vintage design.

Tina Sturzenegger is a food and still life photographer who is passionate about creating beautiful and memorable visual stories and create funky and modern sets for food still life. A glimpse of her current new work.

She photographed and edited an entire Transhelvetica magazine which was published in October 2021. She also photographed the Lindt chocolate content campaign for 2021/2022.
