Art Foto
Portrait photographers
Prague-based photographer Anna Kazanova holds a degree in photography from the Culture and Art University of Kiev and has over eight years' experience working on projects both commercial (weddings, parties, special events, portraits, etc.) and personal. She is the creative director of her own photography company in Prague and travels all over the world for assignments.
From December 2011 until April 2012, Anna collaborated on a project with the Copenhagen avant-garde jazz band 'Strange Party Orchestra'. The aim was to mix photography and sound to create a unique kind of audio-visual experience (the project saw the band compose soundscapes for 12 of Anna's personal photographs). After a successful opening exhibition and many good reviews, one of Anna's photographs was selected for the Copenhagen Week of Photography.
Born in the Ukraine, Anna first became interested in photography when she travelled to Seattle, Washington, as an exchange student. While studying for her degree in Kiev, she produced her first exhibition, which consisted of photographs taken during several trips she's made to Asia. She also took part in a photography workshop in Kars, Turkey, which led to an exhibition of her work in Budapest at the 'A Miro Fotogaleria'.
