Silvia Gerzeli
Hair & make up artists
Silvia Gerzeli is a talented make-up artist and hair stylist. After university, where she wrote her thesis on the 'History of the make-up of Divas and special effects in the 20th century', she went on to study elsewhere in Italy and the US, improving her knowledge of make-up, hairstyling, body painting and special effects.
Always aiming for professionalism and creativity, Silvia works with a range of photographers and cooperates with magazines including Trucco & Bellezza, the leading Italian make-up magazine. In September 2010 she appeared in Make-up Step by Step magazine as a young Italian prospect, and in March 2012 she was featured in Make-up Bride Step by Step magazine.
Silvia works with a diverse range of clients including Patrizia Pepe and Palle Freese Hairstylist (Denmark), and regularly cooperates with Vagheggi Cosmetics. She has also worked across music videos, short films advertising and fashion films.
She also collaborates with CreaFx special effects team, with a recent short music film 'Miro Miranda' directed by Frank La Loggia.

Diego Santangelo

The Diego Santangelo Studios were founded in 2001 by Publicis Vienna senior art and creative director, Diego Santangelo. Today he is an estabilished director and photographer. The production agency and photo studio is specialised in advertising and fashion campaigns, also handling portraits, beauty, food, beverage and jewellery. The studios are based in Naples and act as a link to the entire Mediterranean area. Its highly qualified team all speak at least two languages and keep constantly updated on the latest working skills.

Stefano Cattelan

Stefano Cattelan's powerful photography demonstrates great attention to detail. Applying his personal experience, knowledge and skills he creates intense images, and his ability to think conceptually and offer visual solutions is an asset for every client.
Based in Turin, Stefano is involved in every step of the photo production process, from concept to casting through to digital post production. His award-winning work has included images of the Official Programme Opening Ceremony of the XX Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006, which received the ‘Best Events Award’ won by K-Events and Filmaster Group. He also shot images of the Official Programme Opening Ceremony of the European Taekwondo Championship in Rome in 2008.
His work has been published in newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, Style Montecarlo, Elle, Marie Claire, JM, Men's Health and Sportweek. He has also contributed to a number of charitable causes, including the LILA Night for Aids in Montecarlo and the TV and press campaign for S.O.S. Italia.

Giovanni Santarelli

Giovanni Santarelli is a Milan-based advertising photographer specialised in fashion, portraiture and celebrity images. He uses photography as a means to communicate and express his feelings and emotions.
He particularly enjoys working as a portraiture photographer as it allows him to create a respectful and intimate confidence with his subjects that makes for far deeper, more revealing images.
Giovanni has photographed for many advertising campaigns, magazines and special projects including ONU worldwide campaign, Telecom, Harley Davidson, Peugeot, Bata, Elle Japan, Gentleman, Sisal Superenalotto, and many more.

Emma Innocenti

A recent collaboration with B&A has seen Emma Innocenti produce an advertising campaign, a series of four short films and a catalogue for Antonella Piacenti Jewellery that has undegone a complete re-styling.
Emma was in charge of both production and post production for the photography, video and local resources, studios and locations that were used.
Also under the art direction of B&A, Emma produced the A/W13 advertising campaigns and videos for Gian MarcoVenturi and YUXU.
Other work highlighted in this Showcase was produced for Image Source (London) to illustrate and explore concepts of connection and sharing through technology and wireless devices.
After over ten years, Emma has now moved her production office from London to Florence and continues to shoot internationally.

Francesca Semprini has been involved for many years in interior architecture and design. In 1999 she began location scouting for photographic shoots and design, furniture and fashion events. Presently, she collaborates with some of the most important companies, agencies and editorial offices in the field.
Her portfolio, part of which can be consulted on her website, includes a range of locations of various types and characteristics, accurately selected outside institutional routes: open spaces, show rooms, modern and period architecture.
Her locations, which are always updated and diverse, include art galleries, industrial spaces, temporary shops, gardens and swimming pools.

Settimio Benedusi

Born in Imperia under the Gemini star sign, viscerally curious and armed with an unbreakable determination, Settimio Benedusi has published images commercially and in major magazines.
Over the years, he has shot numerous celebrity covers and produced editorials and advertising work including beachwear, fashion, kids and products for brands such as Versace, Northsail, Fusco, Cantine Ferrari, Miss Blumarine, Iceberg, Winston, Seventy, Take Two, Fisico and many others. For seven consecutive years Settimio has participated as the only Italian photographer with famous swimsuit magazine Sports Illustrated.
He has shot portraits of the cremè-de-la-cremè of Italian society, from Silvio Berlusconi to Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferrè, the Missoni spouses and Alberta Ferretti. His frenetic positivity has led him to extend his activities beyond the profession into teaching, putting on exhibitions, holding conferences and participating in television programmes.
Settimio's profession means he has the great privilege of travelling throughout the world, producing photo shoots in some of the most diverse and incredible locations.
