London-based Matthew Joseph is a people and portrait photographer whose commercial work sees him shooting across the advertising, editorial and corporate industries for brands, publications and selected NGOs.
Emigrating to the world of photography from the music industry, his bold and sometimes dramatic approach to his subjects and their environment aims to evoke emotion whilst retaining honesty.
Matthew’s latest work has seen him commissioned by such clients as Yorkshire Provender, Tearfund and Walgreens as well as a substantial commitment to personal projects taking up much of his time. His latest project ‘aGenda’ has recently been shortlisted for the AOP open awards and 2017 also saw a portrait from last year’s ‘River People’ project win the Art Gemini PhotoX award. He is also proud to have had two images accepted into the ‘Top 200 Ad Photographers Worldwide’ 2018/19 publication.
