A new crop of talented directors recently joined the expanding Aguirre Films production company roster:

• Gustavo Kaplan just arrived from Chile and is currently producing the 'Teen Idol' Alka Seltzer commercial for BBDO, Guatemala.
• Hernan Enriquez travelled far to make 'Family' for Presto, Colombia. Without even unpacking his bags he completed a Tersuave campaign and shot an infomercial for the Banco de Chaco.
• Diego Pernia continues to shoot significant work for the Mexican market.
• Hernan Castellanos, staff director, plans to shoot several commercials with Spiral, Aguirre Films' partner company in Colombia.

Ledesma Millennium is one of the most prestigious photographic, retouching and production studios in Argentina. Facilities include a studio of 500sq metres and a 15m x 15m gallery, with working distance of 28m that enables car photography and set building. Virginia Del Giudice has a very sensitive eye for using natural light to photograph stills and interiors. Working with film on both medium and large format cameras, her incredibly detailed slides are recognised for the particular colour treatment they employ.

Working as a freelancer from Argentina, Virginia has been commissioned by some of the best magazines around the world, including Vogue, Elle Deco, Interiors, and AD. She has also featured in a large selection of interiors and architecture books.

The photos in this Showcase come from a story about Santa Cándida, a house dating from the 1840's that belonged to the first Argentinian president General Urquiza.

Ricardo Piñeiro is considered amongst the pioneers of the Buenos Aires modelling industry.
