Born in Japan, Isamu (or ‘Issey’ to his friends) immigrated to Australia in 1982. After studying photography at RMIT University he began his professional career in 1996.

Based in Melbourne, Issey is one of Australia’s most in-demand advertising photographers specialising in cars. He has shot numerous national campaigns for clients including GM Holden, Subaru, Mazda, Nissan, BMW, Mini, Toyota and Mitsubishi. His other commercial clients include Jack Daniel’s, Lindeman's, Penfolds, Domaine Chandon, Crown Hotels, Harrolds and more.

Issey’s most notable project to date, has been his commission by Tank Branding in 2013 to produce major campaign imagery for the release of the new Australian-made GM Holden VF Commodore, spanning over three months, two countries, and over 15 locations.

Petra Wiebe is a Munich-based freelance stylist and fashion editor with a creative family background. Her father was an interior designer and her sister is a celebrated German fashion designer.
