Born in Cologne in 1965, Peter Lindemann began taking pictures at the age of 16. He assisted international photographers before setting up his own studio focusing on commercial people images in Cologne in 1994.

Peter began his path towards the automotive industry in 1998 and has since worked internationally for a number of major car companies. As a member of the AWI, his work has been awarded several times over the last three years; recently, he was voted one of the '200 Best Photographers Worldwide' by Lürzers Archive.

From an early age, Bruno Alexander experimented with his camera. He later assisted various fashion photographers in Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Paris and New York, acquiring a great amount of experience before setting up his own shop.

In his work Bruno discovers the iconic in every picture. He emphasises the given aesthetics of his images and adds a certain je ne sais quoi to them.

Christoph Papsch is specialised in producing high-quality corporate and industrial photography. For more than 15 years he has been working for companies in the fields of heavy industry, technology, shipping, transport and logistics. His clients include medium-sized enterprises, worldwide corporate groups as well as advertising agencies and magazines.

The special thing about Christoph’s photography is the perfectly placed mix of an unusual perspective and emotionally charged moment - always accompanied by a differentiated observation and a subtle sense of humour. Out of all these components, he creates powerful, content-rich and charismatic photographs.

An internationally published photographer with over 20 years' experience, Frank Rossbach is now based in Cologne and specialises in creating emotive, contemporary and intuitive images.

Frank's work combines technical precision with high attention to detail, which is reflected consistently in his lighting and stylised work. His unwavering vision and strength as a problem solver gives clients an upbeat work environment and a successful end product.

Frank's areas of focus include lifestyle, health and beauty, people, cars and industrial.

Tomy Badurina is a Cologne-based advertising photographer. The images in this Showcase illustrate his focus on corporate, portrait and advertising photography.

For over a decade the centre of his work has been Cologne. Clients can find him either on location or in the studio. Tomy loves to interact with people and get involved with them and bring out the best in order to capture the perfect moment.

He works with agencies and direct clients, including ADAC, AVG Köln, KölnTourismus GmbH and Verlag M. DuMont Schauberg.

Jo Fober is a Cologne-based photographer specialising in architecture, industry and fashion. Since his very early photographs his special perspective on architecture has been reflected in his work.

Choosing the sharpest viewpoint and perspective and combining these with the best light, Jo creates images of real clarity. He is fascinated by the sublime beauty of industrial sites and machines.

It is his intention to translate the ideas and visions of industrial clients, architects and interior designers into aestethic images. Jo's report work is based on client briefings and his understanding of the goals of the company’s campaign, while his fashion work is based on strong collaboration with Cologne-based designers.

Ralph Wentz is the head - and eye - of RAW, a studio for photography and design in Cologne. As a photographer, he has a reputation for the clear and precise image, specialising in people and portrait, interior and exterior images for national and international clients. Being interrested in the entire body of photographic work, Ralph feels equally at home with fashion and beauty.

His fine art portrait work is also highly regarded by private clients all around Germany. Boris Bertram was born in Essen in 1971 and now lives in Cologne with his wife and son. Thanks to his father's profession of developing and building professional lighting systems for photo studios, his love for photography developed very early in life.

In the 90s, Boris specialised in one of Germany's leading photo studios, learning everything from perfect lighting to handling large format cameras. He has since worked for several studios and began his freelance career in 2008.

Boris now specialises in people, portait and industry photography on location,  in the studio, and worldwide. For his clients in the industrial sector he has also realised several very complex, month-long time-lapse videos.

Boris has worked for numerous agencies including Castenow, Grey, Butter, Gramm and Echtzeit for clients including Vallourec, SMS Group, FMT Gruppe, DEKRA, WILO, Sidestep, Deloitte and more.

Jo Kirchherr is a photographer specialising in people, lifestyle and food. He has shot numerous cookbooks for editors as well as advertising campaigns for Deutsche Bank, Karstadt, DB and more. He is located in Cologne from where he is discovering the world of photo, food and pleasure.

Jo has produced his own powerful imagery as a freelance photographer for over 20 years. He loves authentic moments, and his ability to capture spontaneity without sacrificing technical or aesthetic perfection is testament not only to his professionalism, but also to the skills of his accomplished team.

Jo is easy to work with and has a strong focus on understanding the requirements necessary to meet any brief, along with an ability to add value to a concept at every stage of production.

Photographer Bernd Vogel works and shoots out of his studio in Cologne. Styled through his lighting and technical precision and over 20 years of commercial expertise, his perfectionism is highly regarded by clients.

With a passion for capturing people and their unique expressions, Bernd's talent is multi-level, covering a wide range of styles from classic advertising, lifestyle, business reports and industrial stories to high-end beauty work.

Photo designer Michael Haas is based in the south of Cologne and has more than 20 years of experience in production and photography. Besides architecture photography, Michael is specialised in still life, fashion and industry stills.

His studio offers versatile applications from stills up to furniture set-ups. His style demonstrates creativity with great attention to detail, and over the years his enthusiasm and energy has been frequently appreciated by long-term clients including Aldi-Süd, Bayer, Lanxess, Swarovski and Deutsche Post.

Michael works for local, regional and international clients, from small companies up to global players. As a passionate photographer, however, he still loves his frequent personal artistic projects.

The studio provides stills facilitation and offers full service production capabilities, from preparations and organisation of a production all the way to the final steps of in-house post-production. Michael organises and manages photo shoots for ad campaigns, catalogues and Web, working in the studio or out on location according to clients' specific needs and requirements.

Manuel Thomé, born in 1977 in Aachen, Germany, came to photography at an early age through his father and grandfather. After a classic portrait studio education, he assisted a number of different photographers from around Europe, collecting a huge range of experience in people and lifestyle photography.

Self-employed for over 10 years, he now works on the outskirts of Cologne for international clients who appreciate his professional style and passion for dealing with people.

Manuel focuses mainly on beauty and fashion photography and has been awarded every year since 2007 by the 'MPA' (Master Photograper Association). He is currently 'Commercial and Creative Photographer of the year 2015/16'.

Rainer Holz is based in Cologne and focuses on lifestyle, portrait and editorial photography. He works on location and from his own studio.

Rainer's latest projects include studio shoots for Telekom, and annual report for Vonovia, a camaign for Identica (Dupont), and a range of personal work.

His career began in the 90s as a music photographer for magazines such as Spex and Intro as well as eletronic music labels. Today, his clients include Telekom, BASF, Siemens and AXA.

Anne-Marie Hochkeppler and Edith Schmitt have been successfully working together at their photo studio in Cologne for over 20 years. During this long period, the pair have gained a huge amount of experience in many different areas and have become specialists in both still life and food photography.

Product affinity and the care taken to show as much detail as possible are the two most important aspects of their work.

Client ideas are always the most import starting point for Hochkeppler and Schmitt. Through their pictorial language and composition they regularly create impressive images.

Thorsten Kern is a Cologne-based photographer and artist with many faces, focusing on art, still life, architecture and interiors.

Commercially, Thorsten works mainly for agencies and companies from his fully equipped 200m² studio in Cologne Lindenthal. His art photography is displayed in galleries and art fairs throughout Germany, and his multi-part, large format pieces are collected worldwide.

Mike Christian has been working as a professional photographer for over 30 years. He began his career shooting cars on location and in the studio for major companies such as Land Rover, Nissan, Fiat, Renault, Mazda, Ford and many others.

Building on this experience, Mike created a new corporate visual language for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG that characterised for over a decade the image of HDM. A large amount of effort went into portraying their impressive machines as individual, sculptural pieces of art.

This led Mike to architectural photography with the intent of showing great detail in very high resolution, photographing different light situations and taking the best from each layer to produce an image that shows the complexity of the Print Media Academy.

Mike has also worked for companies including Melitta, Fissler, ROWA, Sharp and Uniroyal, as well as with artists, museums and art galleries. He now lives and works in an old factory building that has been turned into a charming studio.

Tomas Rodriguez was born 1973 in Dortmund. Before he became a freelance photographer, he worked worldwide as an assistant for four years across fashion, advertising and architecture.

He has been working independently as a skilled and experienced photographer since 1998.

His studio is based in Cologne where he works and lives. During the cold European winter, Tomas produces mainly in South Africa where he passionately shoots lifestyle images for his national and international clients.

Aside from photography he enjoys life, surfing and walking his dogs. Tomas is working for popular national and international fashion labels, advertising and stock agencies.

Manuel Mittelpunkt was born in 1987 in Moers, Germany, and is now based in Cologne. He is mainly focused on still life, liquid, and cosmetics photography.

In 2010, Manuel started his own career as a freelance photographer. He has since completed a number of commissioned shoots by well-known clients, magazines and agencies.

Clients include Adidas, Montblanc, Schwarzkopf, Swarovski, Fila, Boxfresh, Karstadt and Deichmann as well as agencies Jung von Matt, Grey, Scholz & Friends and Bel Epok. Manuel has also worked for GQ, Lufthansa Exclusive, Page, QVEST, Sneakers and Eyewear Magazine.

Manuel is represented in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by PAM-Mirjam Böhm.

Travelling the world for Jack Wolfskin, NATURAL BORN EXPLORERS produced the 'Can you feel it' summer campaign that continues into spring/summer 2016.

The new 20-second TV ad is an important pillar in the 360° campaign. Directed by Peter Döring, the film crew travelled from the Harz Mountains to Bosnia and Herzegovina via the Carinthian Alps for the TV production.

The NATURAL BORN EXPLORERS team also produced all image materials for the campaign. Photo production took place over several days in the USA, Croatia, Germany and Austria.

Philip went on to do visuals for brands including Sony Ericsson, Averna, Carlsberg and Barcadi. In 2005, after completing his studies in film-making, he founded a>>headscreen for visual concepts. He has since worked for national and international brands and agenies such as TIGI, Alcina, Hochtief, Diesel and Lufthansa.

An individual style coupled with his empathy and heightened feeling for the zeitgeist has distinguished Philip's work. His passion for fashion, beauty and sport commercials can be seen in his two lastest works for M2Beauté and Sonja Blade.

Marc Daum is a German commercial director specialised in directing and producing make-up and beauty shoots for clients including Chanel and Max Factor.

Marc studied Business Administration in Cologne and Hertford (UK) before he moved to Barcelona where he learned the art of film-making at the CECC-University.

Since 2004 he has shot many short movies, corporate videos, Web clips,  commercials and tutorials in Spain and Germany. Marc speaks English and Spanish and has conversational skills in French.

His passion for the visual, capturing the unique moment of every situation, is what characterises his work. Himmelhochjauchzend is Marc's service production company. Based near Cologne, it handles all production requirements, from concept to final delivery, when shooting in Germany.
