Magnet photographer Martin Beck has produced a series of gritty portraits accompanied by a slice of humour in his latest project entitled 'We Can Be Heroes'.

"The subject matter is the folks who feel they didn’t quite make it at superhero school and are, like most of us, living their lives, doing their day-to-day chores, trying to live a happy life while providing for their loved ones.

Along with this gritty and humor-laden style of photography, there is a very important message too. When we think of superheroes, we think of perfect bodies and beautiful faces, achieving unbelievable feats. These are people we idealise as characters that can do no wrong and only seem to exist in our daydreams.

This project tries to humanise super heroes. Despite our flaws and failures, each of us, in our own way, can be heroes to our family, our friends, our colleagues, and we all have the potential to help others."

French artist Clémence Seilles designed the 'AlpinSail' for the outdoor sportswear brand Napapijri. The installation, made of wooden poles, ropes and sails, was built up in the snow of the high Tyrolean alpine landscape. Wagner Productions solved the problem of finding an extreme alpine location that was still logistically feasible for a big fashion shoot crew, and managed the challenging production through the rough conditions up in the mountains.

In Paris, Wagner Productions produced a photo shoot for Volkswagen's special edition Allstar, in connection with the UEFA Euro 2016 championships in France, photographed by Heckl & Mennemann.
