Alexander Baks is a self-taught photographer based in Amsterdam. Specialised in capturing the right ambiance with an eye for detail, Alexander always delivers the highest quality images, on time and exceeding clients' expectations. He is very easy to work with and highly flexible in his approach.
Increasingly focussing on the leisure and hospitality industry, big brands have taken notice of Alexander's stunning work. During the first half of 2016, Hilton commissioned him to create the marketing and key visuals for the company's new European properties: Hilton Schiphol (The Netherlands), Hilton Tallinn Park (Estonia) and Hilton Double Tree Wroclaw (Poland).
Alexander strives every day to create better and more appealing images for his clients. He has a huge passion and talent for capturing beautiful imagery; whether it's creating an editorial or shooting advertising campaigns, he brings a signature style to all of his work.
"At Bed Images, our steadfast aim is to bring back a sense of wonder and style to travel. Whether it be hospitality or lifestyle travel images, we think the perfect photo makes you want to drop everything and "be there".
This philosophy and vision is shared amongst our photographic, motion graphic, film and 3-D creative partners. Everything we create is painstakingly done because a little pain is needed to create visuals of pleasure. We are driven to create bodies of work that stir one's soul. We strive to capture everything in camera but when required, we retouch details with a deft, human touch.
Above all, we have fun because it magically shows up in the work we produce.
Please join us to see the world unfold through our eyes."
German photographer Bodo Mertoglu has focused on interior, architecture and people photography for over 25 years, since beginning his professional career as an apprentice with renowned interior studio Vogelsänger.
He is a master of light and his work guarantees natural light, regardless of how and where he shoots - both in the studio and on location. His photos always demonstrate a high level of understanding of the technical equipment to achieve the best results for his clients.
In this Spotlight Bodo features recent projects that have led him from Munich to London, Milan to Guangzhou shooting several showrooms, booths at international fairs, and at selected architectural sites. His clients include Aesop, BMW, bulthaup and Gaggenau, among others.
Photographic studio Boys Play Nice was founded in 2008 by Jakub Skokan and Martin Tuma. Since its inception, the studio has been focused on advertising, architectural, interiors, product and design photography.
Boys Play Nice also specialises in producing creative concepts for photographic campaigns. The philosophy of the study is to create a picture true to the original idea and to make optimal use of the possibilities provided by the photographic medium.
The company won a Silver Award at the GooSee Awards 2014 in Berlin in the landscape category for a cycle created by Martin Tuma, 'Untitled Landscapes'. The studio's photography has been published by foreign portals and magazines including Mark, DesignBoom.com and Insidecor.com.
Boys Play Nice is represented by Pink.
Brett Bulthuis is an internationally published photographer and world traveller. His assignments have sent all over the US, Japan and China.
He began developing his skills in his early teens and followed that passion to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. Brett worked as an assistant for several award-winning photographers before heading out on his own. Specialising in interior and architectural photography, he was quickly swept around the globe on assignment.
His clients include BMW, Crate&Barrel, CB2, Soho House, BoConcept, Mileu, Nylon Guys, Crains Chicago, Chicago Magazine and VIE Magazine, among others.

Chris Bradley is a Chicago-based commercial photographer who specialises in architectural and interiors photography. He enjoys modernist design, trippy down-tempo electronic music, an excellent sandwich and his daughter Emma.
Chris also gets a kick out of making his clients smile broadly, which he does by bringing a combination of energy, wit and excellent imagery to his shoots. Most recently he made the art director in charge of a shoot for Cramer Krasselt laugh uproariously while shooting at a grocery store, by making a clever - if not slightly low-brow - pun about melons (honeydews, and they were in the shot).
Chris is not above picking the low hanging fruit to make a client smile. Other past clients have included Japanese furniture design firm Okamura, clothing supplier Trunk Club, and Vanity Fair Magazine. When not on a shoot, Chris spends his time picking up small, pink articles of clothing from the floor of his modernly styled apartment while reminding his daughter that she "really ought to be doing this herself!"
Christoph Kern is passionate about exciting travel stories, shooting delicious food and beautiful architecture and interiors. Included in this Spotlight is a selection of images from his recent work for Manor and Swiss Universe, the Swiss inflight magazine for first and business class.
His clients include IWC Magazine, UBS, a+u, Swiss Magazine, Manor, interio, Migros and Davidoff.

Dirk Krüll and his team recently photographed the new website for long-standing client NH Hotels. 30 hotels were fully visualised, including the hip Nhow Design Hotel and the new Collection-Hotels, located in Germany's major cities.
Lighting design firm Licht im Raum published its new catalogue - full of Dirk's images - at the Light+Building furniture fair in Frankfurt. He also worked for Dusseldorf City Council on several long-term downtown construction projects.
Dirk studied at the Folkwang School (GHS Essen) and has received several prizes and grants for his reportage and magazine stories. He is represented by the Laif Agency and is a member of the DGPH.
In recent years his work has led him into corporate, architecture and interior photography. He is currently working on a project about industrial architecture in his Rhein-Ruhr homeland.

Jakub Dvorak's favourite tools are a 0.7 mm Faber Castel pencil and a camera. As co-founder of a design studio his pictures are imagined in the context of a design piece, creating them as part of a communications concept. They are often pre-created as a sketch, but he is careful not to kill the spontaneity and visual challenges of the actual shooting experience.
Delivering the message, being prepared, still staying spontaneous; this is the balance of Jakub's shooting style.
"Technological revolutions today not only bring new tools every couple of months, but most importantly new approaches to actual creative processes for photography. This results in simple changes to the picture rather than its technical parameters."
