Adam von Mack is an award-winning photographer, creating images that are often inspired by his own life experiences. His images are often very warm and vividly represent moments we are all very familiar with.
Adam’s images have powerful emotions and strong colour combinations, creating a very special feel to his photographs. The main elements of his photography are smiles, energy, youth and most importantly: the playful approach.
He likes to say that he is an observer and simply copies what is happening around him. Many of his own projects are inspired by the time he spent in Asia, Africa and of course, by his birthplace in Eastern Europe.
He often collaborates with other artists and film-makers in Germany and Norway and travels often to South Africa during the European winter. Adam is based in London, UK.
Alexander Babic is a German photographer based in Hamburg. He just recently shot lifestyle images for Honda alongside the commercial shoot for the new Honda Civic Type R on location at the Lausitzring and Dresden.
After joining the Breitling Jet Team during their American Tour, he stayed in LA for new projects and met director Kai Sehr, custom-bike builders Dustin Kott and Maxwell Hazan, and was hanging out with the Kapowui surf instructors at Venice Beach.
The result of his visit to Magnus Walker and his unique collection of 911s in DTLA will be published in Porsche's Christophorus Magazine.
For Christian Doppelgatz, photography was at first just an excuse to escape the library while he was earning his Master's degree in Philosophy and Media Studies at the University of Cologne. However, being a passionate traveller, he increasingly enjoyed how looking at the world through a lens brought details into focus that otherwise would have been overlooked. It was a real sense of discovery, and he has pursued photography both personally and professionally ever since.
Both in documentary and commercial photography, Christian is always looking for that spark of authenticity that makes his images human and relatable.
He is currently based in Berlin and Cape Town. He has been represented by UPFRONT photo & film since 2016.
"A photograph speaks volumes. It is the single most effective way to communicate emotions and captivate a special moment in life. People are by far the most interesting and intriguing subjects, never boring, all different. We feel passionate about people photography and believe at its best, a photograph tells the story of how and why he or she became who they are.
Lifestyle photography is something we not only do, we live it. We live to create your images, we live to tell your story. Photography for us is a lifestyle in itself. We live to capture the most important, unusual moments, the essence of life. The most captivating experiences caught on camera are the ones to cherish and that live on for years to come.
Studio Fotonokka, founded in 1972, is one of the largest commercial photography studios in Finland. Catering to needs of a very multifaceted clientele, all our photographers have a unique style and particular areas of personal interest they pursue to tell the story.
Our recent clients include, among many others, Stockmann, Valio, Fazer, Lidl, Kesko, Rukka, John Brown Media, SEK, TWBA, Mirum, McDonald's and Helsingin Sanomat."
A graduate of Film and Photography at Plymouth University, Jon Attenborough left England in 2002 and headed to Australia with the single aim of bagging himself a job on an Aussie soap in the sunshine.
Through persistence, a bit of luck and ultimately good timing, he got his first break and was hired as a runner on Home & Away. For the first seven years he was an assistant director on TV commercials, dramas and films including 'Wolverine', 'Superman' and Baz Luhrmann’s 'Australia'. During that time, he got the opportunity to work alongside some of the best photographers in the world.
It was these experiences, when they’d come to the set to shoot the actors, that inspired him to pick up a camera and become a photographer himself. After 11 years he traded Bondi Beach for Hackney. Now firmly back in England and forging a career in an industry he loves, doing something he’s passionate about, he has worked for brands such as Reebok, The North Face, Puma, Gillette, Stand Up to Cancer and Fred Perry, to name a few.
2017 has seen Kerry Harrison in high demand with shoots for Airbnb, Bayer, Nature Valley, Apple and Philips. As ever, Kerry’s adaptable nature has allowed him to manage any last minute changes and curve balls that can arise on even the most organised of shoots.
Kerry’s expertise in capturing the fleeting instant and the essence of a moment comes from how he engages with the project and talent, getting the most out of every shot. With the use of natural lighting his images have a crispness to them and he manages to bring the natural beauty out of his subjects and setting.
As well as Kerry’s stunning images, he is a pleasure to work with, has a great work ethic and really engages with his subjects, creating a comfortable environment for everyone on set.
Lorenzo Pesce is an award-winning advertising and editorial photographer.
A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in California, for many years Lorenzo has worked as a travel and celebrity photographer for many national and international magazines, gradually moving into the advertising industry.
He divides his time between Italy and Germany.
Based in Germany, Maik Floeder is an advertising photographer and director specialised in lifestyle and beauty. His photography is about honesty and is centered on specific, perfect moments, people, personalities and stories. "It is about fun, friendship and emotion."
Maik likes to work closely with his clients, incorporating their ideas into his work and making sure to produce great results. He has worked for a range of international clients including Amplifon, Volkswagen, Osram, Kaufland, Samsung, Head & Shoulders and Nivea.
Born and raised in Southern California, Michael Scott Slosar took his first photography course in 7th grade and didn't stop there. After attending Northern Arizona University and Brooks Institute of Photography, he moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2002 to pursue his career.
Michael loves to travel and be on the go and gets restless if he stays in one place for too long. This is why he currently splits his time between NY and CA. Michael wishes the world was still film and Polaroid and believes film is the new vinyl. He loves anything vintage, "classic", and/or antique and never misses a good BBQ!
His clients include Toyota, Lacoste, British GQ, Playboy, Sony Records, Ed Hardy, Zoo York, Puma, Asics, Honda, Acura, Time Out Magazine, Italian Vogue-Black, Procter & Gamble, Bridgestone, Hollister and Abercrombie.
Oliver Rossi has been travelling the world since childhood. Born to an Italian musician in Wiesbaden, after finishing his studies he took a 35mm camera to explore India where he discovered his love for photography.
After gaining invaluable experience assisting a number of photographers, Oliver now produces his own powerful imagery as a freelance photographer.
Oliver recently shot for Vodafone. This Spotlight also features a series of lifestyle shots, such as a houseboat story for a financial services provider. His talent for capturing emotions is valued by all his clients, including Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Bahn, Mustang Jeans, Samsung, Siemens and Vodafone.
His photographs act as a medium in the truest sense of the word, as they establish a silent relationship between the model and the viewer.
"Born in Northern Ireland, I’m a London-based photographer. I started my career in a camera crew in the London film industry before working for an agency in web design and digital marketing. I made the switch to stills photography after a period of world travel in 2007.
Since then, I’ve gone on work with both agencies and leading brands directly and been published worldwide, with recent clients including Manchester United Soccer Schools, Microsoft and the NHS.
I like to meet people and put them at ease before creating and capturing natural moments that show them at their best and tell a story.
I work alongside an experienced production team that covers all aspects of a commercial shoot, including casting models, location finding, travel and budget management."
Peter Mason is a lifestyle photographer and director specialising in captured moments, believable, real and emotive.
“I’ve been working with Peter for many years on a variety of projects and clients. On our first commission, a Royal Caribbean project, we undertook an extensive location shoot in the Caribbean and the following year in the Med. The location was a ship, full with paying guests and all with a thirst to maximise their time onboard. This meant working on-the-fly to maintain a healthy relationship with guests, the ship's crew and the client.
Peter’s attitude and commitment for this assignment was spot on. Up at the crack of dawn and still going strong at midnight reviewing the day's work! The biggest challenge was the logistics which he was well versed at. From keeping six models active and motivated to adding much value in negotiating transport, props, licensing for shoots ashore and onboard.
Regardless of location or studio, Peter adds to any shot scenario I throw at him with a keen creative eye. He jumps in with ideas and with his own two feet, having shot all around the world, under seas, from the air, nothing phases him!" Nick Carter @ Positive.
Petros Ktenas has devoted his life to capturing "those moments we sometimes miss". Approaching stills in the same way he likes to work with motion, as a director and photographer he excels at shooting automotive, landscapes, people and lifestyle. Petros is patient, understanding and unpredictable; a young and explosive creative talent to work with.
“As a child, I was very observant, developing a keen interest in people's faces and emotions early on. As a photographer and director, I’m so lucky to be able to call this amazing creative life, where I go to so many cool places and meet so many fantastic people, my job”.
Over the last 10 years, Petros has worked with some great creative talents on campaigns for Audi, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Hyundai, Renault, Fiat, Tourism New Zealand, Tourism NSW, Four Seasons Hotels, SBS World Movies and Greenpeace.
"A few months ago we had the pleasure of shooting six ads in addition to a small library of lifestyle imagery for social media use. Our shoot ran parallel to the video production company and to say time was limited, would be quite an understatement!
We worked in conjunction with the crew’s producer and assistant director on talent scheduling and availability to avoid possible conflicts and make the most of the short time we had to shoot.
Here is a small sample of the lifestyle library we shot."
