Emily Assiran is an award-winning photographer based out of Brooklyn, NY. She specialises in portraiture and interiors.

Growing up in Philadelphia, Emily graduated with a BFA in photography from Tyler School of Art. This passion brought her to New York City in pursuit of her career. She has since photographed many recognisable talents and great personalities.

Jennifer Davick is a California and New York-based director and photographer for brands that seek to showcase food and culinary lifestyle photography and film that is vibrant, stylish, approachable and appetizing.

Swedish-born, NYC-residing photographer Kristofer Dan-Bergman was raised in a theatre family. He started as a photojournalist and moved into commercial and advertising photography with clients including Clarins, Kay Jewelers, At&T and Tag Heuer.

His personal projects are an exploration in the discipline and the universe. His first exhibit, entitled ‘Touch’, looked into his relationship with stones. Many more followed (’S_PACE’, ‘allONE’, ‘Wall(k)’, ’Bo(a)rd').

Mitchel Gray - over 100 covers, over 1000 editorials, ads, and web pages, 2 best-selling coffee table books, several NYC (and elsewhere) art gallery shows, and a bunch of videos. 

Bodies - 'In Action', 'At Rest', and 'Intertwined' have been one of the two major focuses of Mitchel’s work. The second has been portraits- celebrities, athletes, models, performers, and real people. 

The images included in this issue of Showcase Magazine are all new and help to round out the overall portfolio. The new 'Bodies in Action' photos feature NFL and NBA players, and a Winter Olympics athlete, along with an up and coming, very special singer/song writer. The final image is a bit more personal but very consistent with Mitchel’s strengths. It harkens back to his lingerie days. Note that in each photo that appears to have more than one person in it, it is actually the same person in competition with himself. Of course, that is not the case with the last photo.

Andrea Fremiotti is an award-winning image maker specialising in editorial and advertising in New York City and Atlanta. He was born in Rome, then grew up immersed in the arts thanks to his mother’s job as a theatre director in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Andrea discovered digital photography was his perfect combination of art and science at Penn State, where he earned bachelor degrees in Integrated Arts and Cognitive Psychology in 2000.

His clients include Netflix, Lifetime TV, Madwell Agency, Travel & Leisure, Garden & Gun, Surface Magazine, and New York Magazine. He has also exhibited fine art in venues such as Gallery 151 in Manhattan and MOCA GA in Atlanta.

Originally from Ukraine, Julia Sariy is a New York City-based photographer specialising in women’s and men’s fashion, beauty and portrait photography.

Her eye for style and fashion, lighting and professionalism set her apart from the competition. Julia’s photographic vision pursues a clean aesthetic and modern approach, and she always ensures that her clients are delivered the best services that fully represent their brands.

Taipei-born, Hawaiian-raised Howard Huang's unique mix of a sharp creative vision and veteran technical prowess has catapulted him to become one of commercial photography's fastest-rising stars. His models emerge as warm and sexy, with a touch of glamour and lingering drama.

"I am always thinking of a narrative behind the shoot, because I prefer creating images with a powerful emotional impact. His dramatic, high-concept images have graced the books of iconic American authors and also appear in Vogue, The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Interview, iD, Paper and Vibe.

Lucas Allen’s photography is clean, graphic and well-designed. His style is modern but not trend-driven and carries across his work which encompasses interiors, portraiture, still-life, food and travel.

This multi-disciplinarian, based between New York and Melbourne, Australia, continues to travel internationally to shoot for clients such as House & Garden UK, Condé Nast Traveller, Le Méridien Hotels, Loews Hotels, Martha Stewart and Dwell.

Lucas loves collaborating with other creatives. His energy and generosity on set, along with his perfectionism and problem solving abilities, consistently delivers stunning results. Supported by production teams in the USA and Australia, he has experience producing both small and large scale shoots in various international locations.

Lucas’ personal work has featured in both solo and group exhibitions. He is currently working towards a solo show and the launch of a limited-edition online print gallery, Exhibit A, with his wife, Alexandra.

Lucila Blumencweig was born and raised in Buenos Aires. After working in the film industry as an art director and costume designer, she then turned to photography.

Beginning as a photojournalist, Lucila's work has been published in leading magazines including Rolling Stone, La Petite Mag Bacanal, D&D Deco and Cinemania. In 2006, she founded her own studio producing all aspects of her campaigns, and has since been working in the fashion and advertising industries. Her images are mostly known for their detail and emotional use of light.

Lucila has been awarded at the NY IPA awards several times, while many campaigns have been recognised at the Cannes Festival, Ojo de Iberoamerica and Lapiz de Platino.
