Chris Boulton Photography London advertising photographers

"Hello or ‘Dydh da’ as they say in Cornwall. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photographs.

In essence, I am a people photographer. I use faces and places to story-tell and give my commissions life. I am inspired by people, their stories and the landscape. These images are from a shoot in January for a UK-based charity who look after the welfare of fishermen. I visited the coastal communities of Cornwall, getting to know the fishermen and their way of life. I took their photos and got a glimpse below the surface. They are a unique people bound by a common bond - the sea.

I have a passion for creating atmospheric, filmic, story-telling images that people can relate to or see something of themselves in. My job is not as a ‘content creator’ but someone who captures something meaningful, impactful and authentic. I shoot for a range of different clients including brands, publications, charities and NGO’s.

Tereba nessa (‘Till next time’ in Cornish)."

Julie Renouf Europe - Australia advertising photographers

"An inspired Christmas gift when I was seven years old was my introduction to photography. My mum teaching me the wonder of light, composition and how to capture ‘the defining moment’ as I learned the nuances of my new Hanimex camera.

A passion for art photography ensued, ultimately leading to years of formal study, followed by work initially in editorial and then advertising photography. From supermarket chains, countless food brands and hair care products to spirits, wines, herbal teas, coffee, and beer; my clients have ranged from multinational conglomerates to start-ups looking to establish a unique branding style.

Recent years have seen my love of the still image flow into my love of the moving image, with the focus being to always weave a visual story. My capacity to shoot both photography and film streamlines production and maintains style consistency across various media. On set I work closely with clients: collaboration, a positive attitude, and a shared enthusiasm for evocative visuals is the most effective way to create beautiful, authentic stories worth sharing with the world."

The team of people I pull together for these shots, are in my mind the best and most passionate in the game. I work all over the world. So, if you have burgers, let’s have a chat.

My love of food and imagery has no bounds, I love thinking up camera moves and ways to make that food look as epic and yummy as possible.

With 20 plus years under my belt and still loving it."

"Not every day is the same!

We flame grilled this billboard to mark the new collaboration between Doritos and Burger King.

  • Dreamed up by some very clever creatives and supported by some bold clients.
  • Lots of fire testing, to make sure we got a clean, solid flame and to make sure it burned as slowly as it could.
  • Lots of H&S, as you can imagine, along with support from a private fire service just in case things got out of hand.
  • Designed and built by a team of experts.
  • And of course filmed, photographed and edited by some extremely talented people.

All done in the UK."
