Andrzej Dragan was born in 1978 and went on to study in Warsaw and on scholarships in Amsterdam, Oxford and Lisbon. He received his PhD in quantum physics cum laude in 2005. He has been involved in photography since 2003.
Andrzej has published his work in magazines and books in 12 different countries, including Luzer's '200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide 2006'. He was awarded with gold and silver medals at the KTR ad festival in 2006, two silvers and a bronze in 2007, and two golds, two silvers and two bronzes in 2008. He was nominated to the Cannes Lion award at the Cannes Festival 2006 and received a silver medal in the Corbis Photography Awards 2007, a gold medal at the Golden Drum Festival 2007, and a bronze in the Epica Awards 2007. He came third in the Pilsner Uruquell Contest 2007, and was awarded 'Photographer of the Year 2007' by Digital Camera Magazine, UK.
