Ben Goldstein has loved photography ever since discovering the darkroom while looking for a lunchtime alternative to his high school cafeteria. He was instantly hooked, and whenever possible chose photography over a somewhat bleaker high school reality.
To this day, Ben prefers photography to reality, and thinks reality could often use better lighting.
Ben shoots portraits and still life and tries to find humour in his work whenever possible. He has worked with Esquire, Marie Claire, Maxim, O Magazine and HBO to name just a few. He has an MFA from Pratt Institute and lives in Brooklyn.
Internationally published and exhibited, Dan Nelken has been producing award-winning images for advertising agencies, design firms, corporations as well as education and health care providers for over 26 years.
A selection of clients includes J. Walter Thompson, Leo Burnett, Interbrand Corp, Deutsch Inc, BBDO Worldwide/Singapore, Creative Medical Communications, Desantis Breidel, Siegl + Gale, Suka Creative, Carbone Smolan Agency, AT&T, DTCC, HRC, IBM, NBCU, TIAA/CREF, UBS, UPS, Apple Inc, American Express, Bank of America, Bank of New York, Citigroup, Deloitte & Touche Tohmatsu, JP Morgan Chase and Met Life.
Dan Demetriad is an award-winning portrait and celebrity photographer based in Manhattan. His client list is a who's-who of national editorial, corporate CEOs and talent agency directors and his portraiture ranges from individuals and families to many of the nation's top actors, entertainers, innovators and corporate leaders.
Born and raised in Bucharest and a New Yorker for over 30 years, Dan is known for his ability to capture personalities; he is in demand for his studio photography, interior architectural shots, live performance shoots and post production expertise. Dan has worked out of his Broadway studio for 27 years and shares his extensive collection of European and American jazz and classical music recordings with his favorite clients - which includes nearly all of them.
Debra Sugerman began taking photographs at age 12. Like most artists, she tested many disciplines before returning to her first love, realising her potential and establishing a career as a non-commercial fine art image-maker.
Her work has found its way to small commercial niches as well as gallery exhibits and private collections. Honing her skills specifically in image-making, Debra's film-making has risen in a parallel effort. After a number of years working behind the scenes on large and small budget feature films, she found it a natural process to move into directing and creative producing. Debra currently has two documentary productions to her name.
Flowing easily between jobs and unafraid of a challenge, she is capable of handling large or micro budgets. As a visual artist her singular vision translates well from concept to end result. Her early training as location manager taught her a lot about producing; coupled with her unique physical vision, this makes Debra an exceptional filmmaker.
Egon Gade works out of Copenhagen for Danish and Scandinavian design companies. International design icons such as Bang & Olufsen, Fritz Hansen, Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Danfoss and Montana are among some of his clients.
Simplicity best describes Egon's pictures. For eight years he has been studying new concepts for portrait photography and came up with an idea to shoot portraits for the theatre.
Egon was commissioned by The Royal Danish Theatre to take 61 portraits of the entire cast and drama department in the theatre’s 2011-12 repertoire. It took a year to complete and the portraits were exhibited in the waterfront foyer at the The Royal Danish Playhouse.
With an eclectic and diverse background in press, reportage and portrait photography, Gareth Gatrell uses his quick-witted persona, speed and on occasions his wrestling skills in all areas of his work. His travels have taken him far and wide, shooting for the likes of Hello Magazine, Closer, Liam Gallagher, Denise Van Outen, Hugo Boss (Alex Thomson Race Team), Gut Records, and many more.
Gareth's cinematic style is a seamless collaboration of raw material with textural post production. The adrenalin and thrill of assignments continue to fuel his desire to create high impact visuals that cross all frontiers.
His most recent commission took him to the vibrant townships of India for Hello Magazine, where he covered Denise Van Outen and Lydia Rose Bright ('Towie' series) on their 485km cycle ride across Rajasthan on behalf of Great Ormond Street.
Gareth is currently looking for European and international representation. Visit his website for more information.
