Alexa Singer is a fashion, lifestyle and advertising photographer, based in Cape Town during the summer and travelling the globe the rest of the year. She has recently completed two Nivea campaigns shot in Spain, a Keer Diamond ad in Shanghai, a Sheraton Hotel campaign, and a 16-page editorial for Marie Claire. She loves nature and travel, which is often reflected in her work.

10-4 Africa is proud to showcase its recent production for France’s biggest brewery, 1664 Kronenbourg, overseen by Fred and Farid Agency and photographed by Serlin Associate's Kevin Mackintosh. Shot on location around Cape Town and South Africa's picturesque east coast, the seamless fusion of superior product, talent and production is clearly captured in the flawless images produced.

It's summer again in Cape Town and just before the world descends on the tip of Africa, Cool Banana would like to take a moment to thank those clients who shared some fun times shooting their fall/winter campaigns in Cape Town.

The teams from US Polo Assn, Jockey and Arrow Clothing enjoyed a cosy Cape winter feeling shooting elements in the winelands, wooden houses on the lake, horses, cityscapes and even luxury motor yachts. Some of the shots could well have been New York.

Juan Stockenstroom is an award-winning creative high-end retoucher based in Cape Town. With a background in photographic lighting and art, he moved to the United Kingdom in 2004 to pursue a career as a retoucher. He spent a number of years working in some of London's prestigious post-production houses where he gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience.

Juan returned to South Africa in 2011 and now runs a creative studio in the heart of Cape Town, working with both local and international clients and brands. He offers a bespoke image and visual content creation service and works one-on-one with art directors, photographers and brands to create stunning imagery and campaigns for the global market. He uses photography, retouching and CGI to bring to life visual ideas from concept to final delivery for print and Web.

Juan's work includes complex multi-part compositing, general image refinement, beauty and fashion retouching, CGI and high-end colour grading.

A selection of Heidi Louw's most recent work is highlighted in this Showcase. She takes images to the next level of professionalism where every project is retouched and refined to each clients' needs.

A recent notable event was an 'Honorable Mention' in the IPA 2013 awards in the Beauty section for work with photographer Belinda Muller. Heidi's strength undoubtedly lies in her ability to retouch skin with a very delicate and instinctive approach.
