Diego Freire is a self-taught 24-year old photographer based in Salvador. From his first contract in surf photography covering the Brazilian Surf Championships, his passion for photography is growing with every image.

Over the years, Diego turned to advertising photography, realising his true talent and has since expanded his portfolio in commercial photography and was recently awarded with a Golden Lion at Cannes Festival 2013 for his press campaign called "Anorexia".
