Charlie Mainardi has worked in the industry for 30 years. After graduating as an architect, he began his career in advertising at Mainardi Photographers, a studio specialised in cars and led by his father.

Charlie has since worked for almost every car company in Argentina as well as worldwide, shooting in Europe, the United States and Africa for brands such as Peugeot, Hyundai, Ford, GMC and VW. Campaigns created by Agulla & Baccetti for Renault remain global references, as does acclaimed work for Coca-Cola.

Awards as a photographer and director include Cannes, The New York Festival, Clio and every local and regional festival in between.

Charlie has produced two feature films and has been second unit director for scenes involving race cars. His personal work focuses on people in real situations: his work on the homeless and their environment has been exhibited across different galleries since 2010 and is part of private collections in Argentina and the US.

Charlie is represented in America, Mexico, Europe, Chile and Ecuador.
