Yi Guo Shanghai styling, hair, makeup

Yi Guo was born in Shanghai and raised in NYC. Her styling career began over 10 years ago in NYC, working for magazines such as Vanity Fair, WWD, W and Details. Her interest in China's growing fashion industry began when she became New York Fashion Editor for the innovative I.T Post magazine. After many trips back to Shanghai and an opportunity to become Style Editor for Vogue China, she decided to base herself in Shanghai.

Yi currently freelances for many international brands and consults for multiple luxury companies looking to launch in China. Her client list includes Vogue China, Chanel, Neiman Marcus, Maybelline, Olay and Sephora. She also works very closely with emerging Chinese designers and Chinese fashion brands.

Her understanding of both western and eastern aesthetics has given her a unique eye in the fashion industry. She hopes to continue to narrow the gap between east and west and bridge the fashion industries of both cultures.

Yi is represented by Bloc Productions.
