After graduating from the esteemed Schiller & Co. in 2004, Bjarke Johansen went on to shoot for some of the world’s leading fashion titles including ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar and DANSK. 

His work as a fashion and portrait photographer focuses on capturing the spirit of his subjects in effortlessly composed and beautifully soft, minimally retouched images that convey emotion and energy.

The Danish-born photographer’s work continues to take him around the world, but he remains a great admirer of the Danish mentality and style, as well as the female form and the force of femininity. Bjarke lives in Copenhagen with his wife and two sons.
