Virtual Stages Photography is a new format invented by Ben Isselstein. Ben started his career as a still life, industry and advertising photographer and his technique is based on the idea that a motif or scene can be formed from several staged elements consisting of separate image data.
Ben takes single shots when and where it is efficient or convenient, seamlessly moulding the results through his advanced compositing, retouching and digital airbrushing skills. His large archive of back-plates and elements removes the need for a physical third dimension and provides creative freedom, flexibility and control throughout the creative process.
Virtual Stages Photography speaks a unique language of imaging and art. The complex technique is built on a very slim and efficient production line. Visit Ben's online portfolio for a more behind-the-scenes perspective
