Darius Ramazani was commissioned by advertising agency JoussenKarliczek to shoot the new World Vision campaign in Cape Town. Instead of focusing on suffering and hardship, the organisation is appealing to the public to become sponsors with positive imagery and texts. The city light posters and high-circulation print inserts show young, smiling protagonists with the message “Da bist du ja!” (There you are!).
Darius has been working on a freelance portrait series entitled 'Authentic'. To commemorate what would have been the 100th birthday of publisher Axel Springer on 2 May, 2012, he also photographed portraits of centenarians.
Darius shot the first campaign for the kikola children’s store in Berlin, which sells furniture, home interior accessories, clothing and toys. His photos were further enhanced by Jule Roschlau’s striking illustrations.
